When starting the shoot for this Snow Mountain Descent 1101 Theresa look, the outdoor wind was strong and temperatures were far lower than expected, though fortunately the sunlight was great. What required the most meticulous care in this look was the pair of red-and-black horns atop my head; crafted with a matte gradient texture, they carried a dignified weight under natural light. For makeup, I repeatedly adjusted the blending range of the dark red eyeshadow, paired with red colored contacts, striving to portray the character's aloof sense of distance and touch of compassionate sorrow. The wig features a pink-and-white gradient; the center-parted long bangs were easily tousled by the wind, requiring constant smoothing from my assistant.
Regarding the outfit, the inner layer is crafted from glossy black soft leather with a slight stretch, casting a cool, sleek sheen under reflected woodland light that contrasts sharply with the expansive, airy white soft tulle of the outer dress (White dress styling). The skirt hem spread wide across the ground, yet easily snagged on grassland brush. The bouquet of white daisies in my hand (Holding white flowers) was picked the night before; holding them perfectly anchored and balanced the visual monotony of extensive green in the frame.
This shoot took place in a wild meadow overgrown with white reed plumes, backed by lush green woods for this Field outdoor photography. Posing seated in the dense grass, although the wild brush pricked my legs and felt itchy, I sat for a long time to evoke that feeling of being embraced by nature. The photographer primarily used a wide aperture combined with foreground bokeh framing, creating a hazy foreground veil of reed plumes so that glancing back through the foliage toward the camera created an atmosphere of waiting alone in the vast wilderness. This shooting style placed high demands on expression: I deliberately relaxed and unfocused my gaze, maintaining a serene state to let my eyes pierce through the lens.
Post-processing focused on skin clarity and global color harmony without excessive skin smoothing, preserving fabric textures and the authentic folds of the tulle dress. Although this outfit is relatively modest in shaping body lines without traditional form-hugging silhouettes, its overall ethereal flow and elegance were more than enough to sustain the character's profound mood. Accompanied by the natural bokeh of the distant woods, the cool stillness and sacred aura of the entire set were captured precisely. Special thanks to the team for seamless coordination amidst the fierce winds, capturing many natural moments of flowing fabric. I am very pleased with the final photos from this Arknights Theresa Cosplay shoot, especially the details of light and shadow playing across the white tulle and that gently melancholic solitude sitting amidst the grass, which captured the exact feelings I hoped to express.
