The lighting at the CP32 venue was truly excellent; this Demon Lord formal attire presented a very translucent texture under the sunlight of the outdoor convention. This time, it was paired with a Godox ML100Bi continuous light for fill light, focusing on highlighting the reflective layers of the white gauze fabric while making the contrast between the pink wig and black horns more pronounced. The Sony A7M5 combined with the bokeh performance of the Viltrox 35mm F1.2 LAB cleanly separates the subject from the crowded background, and the soft focus effect under the large aperture fits the character's inherently slightly aloof temperament perfectly for this piece of Convention photography.

During the shoot, I intentionally adjusted the angle to let the black horns create some highlight contours in the side-backlight. Combined with the details of the red colored contacts and pearl necklace, I am quite satisfied with the overall level of restoration. Real-time feedback at the convention venue is very important, and the success rate of the shots has improved a lot. The tailoring and pleat design of this outfit change dynamically when walking around, though static close-ups can also fully embody the Demon Lord's solemnity and elegance.

Using a shallow depth of field helps avoid the cluttered exhibition hall background while retaining a bit of ambient halo, so the frame carries the lively atmosphere of the convention without distracting from the main subject. The white balance was set slightly cool to preserve the outdoor natural color temperature, and the skin tone transparency was finely adjusted in post-processing. This shooting experience went very smoothly; the responsiveness of the equipment and the lighting setup were both a huge help to this Cosplay sharing entry.
