The brown leather bag was a classic school-life piece, adding immense relaxation when leaning against walls carrying it or standing with arms loosely crossed. In one shot, I ate a snack by a stone pillar holding a little pink box and a slender snack stick—that casual pose aimed to catch a more lifelike, playfully candid moment.
When it comes to capturing expressions, I find the character's most charming trait to be her unaccommodating, aloof coolness. Thus, while shooting, I deliberately cut back on overly sweet smiles, leaning into direct, unblinking gazes or a slight head tilt with neutral, level-headed looks. Still, finding the right balance was essential to avoid looking expressionless or rigid. For example, in the shot crouching by the railing with a hand resting on the glass and eyes gazing straight ahead, the drape of the pleated skirt and the silhouette of the Grey tights outfit created a quiet, compelling tension.
The photoshoot went remarkably smoothly.
