This set features client photos of Topaz. Before the shoot, my team and I wanted to use different lighting and scenes to fully present the confidence, efficiency, and dominant aura of an employee from the Interastral Peace Corporation's Strategic Investment Department in Honkai: Star Rail. This costume is highly recognizable, featuring silver-white to pink gradient short hair paired with purple-blue eye makeup, reflecting entirely different atmospheric vibes under shifting neon and muted red lights. The white deep-V shirt, black leather waist corset, draped with that red single-shoulder shawl adorned with gold diamond patterns and metallic tassels, instantly maxes out the character's mysterious and elite visual appeal.

To complement Topaz's lore as a Strategic Investment Department specialist, prop selection also took careful thought. Holding a wine glass in one hand while playing with replica dollar bills and playing cards in the other, these elements cleverly reinforced her image of skillfully maneuvering between capital and chips. We set up two highly atmospheric scenes. One was a Gaming room equipped with multi-monitors and colorful reflective accents, where screens simulated financial K-line chart interfaces, paired with blue-purple neon backlighting on the desk to instantly evoke a Cyber style ambiance reminiscent of a financial trading room or command center. The other was a bar and wine cabinet scene, where warm red and dim lighting cast over liquor bottles and countertops, bringing out the feeling of brokering deals inside a high-end club.

Throughout the photoshoot, the most challenging part was grasping the nuances of facial expressions and movements. Topaz as a character requires a nonchalant yet in-control composure. Thus, when shooting seated poses in the gaming chair, I specifically chose a relaxed posture with crossed legs leaning back against the seat, which not only displayed the leg-elongating effect of leather boots and high boots, but also conveyed poise through a slightly tilted-up chin. In the shots looking back while holding a wine glass, gazing over my shoulder into the lens, the body twist fully exposed the garment's side tailoring and collar layering. Maintaining a relaxed posture before the camera wasn't easy, but the final output beautifully demonstrated the outfit's visual fluidity in this Cosplay photography project.

Costume material choices shone brilliantly under the camera lens. The black section carried a leather luster, spliced with red and black diamond lattice armguards on the arms; the diamond patterns on the red shawl and gold tassel epaulets, combined with metallic chains and buckles, gave the entire ensemble rich detail layers. Wig texture and gradient coloring at the tips were handled with great delicacy, presenting a texture under studio flash that, together with the black geometric hairpiece, made her distinct features immediately recognizable. Furthermore, the glowing blue wristband was a major visual highlight, creating a fantastic color contrast against the dominant red, black, and gold palette. Collaborating with the team to recreate this Strategic Investment Department character so three-dimensionally was truly a thrilling photoshoot experience. It wasn't merely wearing a beautiful outfit, but utilizing set designs, props, and camera angles to bring her world's style and presence authentically into reality.
