The intensity of the CPSP2025 Day 1 Convention floor walkaround record far exceeded my expectations—from the morning opening until the afternoon hall clearance, I was almost constantly in a state of high-intensity shooting. The character I cosplayed this time was Wishadel from Arknights in her 'Anomalous Spectrum' outfit. To faithfully recreate this design, I specifically chose dark reddish contacts for the makeup and put considerable effort into securing the red horn headpiece and straps.
I must express my heartfelt gratitude to my accompanying friends who helped carry the outer red-and-black coat and that heavy red-hilted blade prop throughout the day, while helping me find angles amidst the chaotic lighting of the venue. I also deliberately posed for several kneeling and seated shots that required significant leg and core support. Because the red thigh straps and metal buckles easily catch harsh reflections under intense light, even minor misalignments could look cluttered. These poses were definitely physically demanding, but thankfully I pulled through.
I also met many master photographers in the photo zone that day and learned a great deal. Thanks to everyone who came to take photos together—getting everyone's recognition was truly heartwarming. Even though I spent almost the entire day posing before lenses and only gave the convention itself a quick glance, the vibrant atmosphere on-site blew me away multiple times. Especially when shooting with diffusers under hard light or against partition boards, the distinct lighting approaches of different photographers were clearly noticeable, providing wonderful references for learning how to pose and work with cameras in the future.
Taking both character accuracy and visual composition into account, special attention was paid to the pairing of black shorts and thigh straps. Poses like raising the blade or holding the knife in my mouth were adjusted numerous times to nail the optimal visual center of gravity. Since the hall was crowded and floor reflections were strong, minor lighting adjustments were made to some finished photos, yet the authentic feel of the character recreation was fully preserved.
Once again, thank you to all the photographers and support crew for their assistance. Though exhausted to the point of barely being able to walk by the end of the day, the journey was incredibly fulfilling and left behind many unforgettable memories. Once the photo retouching is done, I'll release behind-the-scenes video clips to put a proper finishing touch on this high-intensity convention walkaround.
