Phaethon's exclusive guide, an invitation from Mockingbird—this look is truly an eye-opener. Today's share is the official Vivian cosplay set from Zenless Zone Zero, aiming to restore her gentleness and approachability before the camera as much as possible.
In terms of hair and makeup preparation, I selected light purple large wavy curls, repeatedly adjusting the curvature of the hair tips to match the character's first impression. To wear these pointed Elf ears cosplay, I tried several angles so the orientation of the ears blended more naturally with my face shape, avoiding looking awkward. The headband hair accessory featuring blue-black geometric splicing and a small white crescent is both distinctive and exquisite, forming a great echo with the overall blue-white-black outfit tones. The combination of eyeliner and lip makeup was intentionally styled to make the gaze look more lively and spirited.
The outfit is the core of this work. The top features a white short-sleeved shirt with ruffles, with puffy, oversized cuffs giving a slight royal court style feel. Layered over it are black suspender straps, with a wide black belt cinching the waist, which not only outlines the waistline but also makes upper and lower body proportions clearer. The neck choker is adorned with a purple gem, paired with a blue-black plaid bow tie, making details exceptionally rich. The lower body consists of layered black-and-white pleated skirts paired with a Black tights outfit; this combination is visually classic while offering great depth in layers. For nails, I went with long pure black press-ons, adding a cool, edgy contrast to the overall cute aesthetic.
Regarding shooting location selection, this set of photos utilized a pure white studio lighting backdrop. A clean and simple background allows the character subject and outfit color textures to be highlighted to the maximum extent without being distracted by complex sets. As for props, I mainly used a dark wooden chair with vintage carvings and a gray plush rabbit doll. These props stand out remarkably in a white space, maintaining the image's cleanliness while creating a quiet, comfortable everyday atmosphere across the entire frame.
During this shoot, I tried several different body poses to match the character design. Among them, sitting on the chair or kneeling beside it appeared more natural and relaxed. When sitting on the chair, I intentionally relaxed my posture with hands resting in front to show a composed side; while in a kneeling pose, leaning slightly forward carried a touch of gentleness and obedience. Combined with the texture of the Black tights outfit under soft lighting, the visual sensation felt very full. Compared to stiff standing poses, this more casual body language can better convey the character's approachability.
When shooting this set, I imagined the atmosphere of welcoming Phaethon to join Mockingbird in my mind, so my expressions and gazes were kept as friendly and sincere as possible. Although early preparation work—from makeup and wig styling to putting on Elf ears cosplay—took over two hours with no detail left overlooked, seeing the final photos made everything feel completely worth it. I hope this set of official photos not only restores everyone's impression of Vivian, but also lets everyone see a Vivian full of charm.
