[Wenshuang Cosplay] Genshin Impact: Tonight's Slightly Tipsy Moment

This time I took photos of Wenshuang, Nefer, and Lauma from Genshin Impact. The style span among each character was actually quite large, but all were very interesting. Let's first talk about this Wenshuang Cosplay set: the main dark green and black color tone paired with gold accents, star-shaped metal ornaments at the collar, and geometric patterns on the shoulders particularly tested the tailor's patternmaking, as it needed to fit body curves without pinching out wrinkles. The wig selected was a deep emerald green with a high-crown hairstyle, and the Elf ears were custom colored silicone; when applying them, one must pay attention to the angle, otherwise the ear tips look too straight. For eye makeup, the red blending at the outer corners was deliberately enhanced, which, combined with green contact lenses, instantly anchored the whole aura. For the shoot, a vintage study scene was chosen; the dark bookshelves and warm lamp behind highlighted reflections on the metal pieces. The pink liquid in hand was actually non-alcoholic sparkling water; to simulate the layered texture of wine, a layer of syrup was deliberately smeared on the inside of the glass. The reflection positions on the leather sofa were key; I adjusted lighting angles with the photographer several times so highlights fell on the arm guards and collarbone area, accentuating the costume's detailed texture. The other set with blue-purple hair was completely different, switching to a greenhouse set where huge plush props and flower branches created a soft atmosphere. However, the straps and dangling ornaments on that outfit were even more intricate than Wenshuang's, especially the multi-layered tulle at the waist and the beaded necklace on the chest, which required readjusting positions with every movement. Combining the two makeup and hair stylings, wig styling alone took nearly three hours, as both hair colors required layered trimming and curling. Wenshuang's seated posture demanded a languid Onee-san cosplay temperament while keeping the gaze focused; one couldn't truly relax and slouch, or the shoulder straps would slide off, so my core was actually tight throughout the shoot. During breaks between shoots, I also tried out some accessories for the third character, but due to lack of time, only half a set was done. This Genshin Impact cosplay attempt allowed me to re-understand the design logic of character clothing in the game—many geometric decorations that look simple actually require considering weight-bearing and movement range when worn in real life. For example, if the ring guards on Wenshuang's wrists are too tight, they affect the hand gesture for holding the glass, while if too loose, they rotate easily, so velcro was used for internal fixation in the end. Although the preparation period wasn't long, every costume had unique memory points; rather than simply posing, I wanted even more to recreate those daily moments filled with a sense of fantasy.
