Today, we captured this pink rabbit-eared maiden cosplay inside a greenhouse studio. The set was lushly dressed with cascading vines and fresh blossoms, while crisp daylight streaming through white glass panes provided an exceptional natural light foundation. To align with the theme, every element from hair and makeup to wardrobe was prepared with thorough care.
The wig was a rich deep brown, requiring considerable combing before being braided into two thick, long plaits secured with elastic bands at the tips. The Pink rabbit ears headband resting on the crown was the soul accessory, accented with miniature carrot trinkets at the base for a touch of playful charm. For makeup, reddish-brown shadows paired with pinkish-purple contact lenses to lend the eyes lively expression. Blush was dusted softly to harmonize with a natural, rosy lip.
The wardrobe centered on a pink-toned dress featuring ruffled shoulders, sheer tulle bodice inserts, and a neck choker dangling a small orange blossom. A wide dark brown belt cinched the waist for clean definition. The skirt featured subtle jacquard weave and delicate white bunny accents, paired below with pink Pantyhose patterned with geometric block motifs, pink high heels with white lace-up straps, and matching pink-and-white bracelets on the wrists.
Shooting revolved primarily around a white swing inside the greenhouse. The first shot captured the overall ensemble and scenic background: seated sideways on the swing, resting my right hand naturally on the seat while raising my left hand to gently touch the Pink rabbit ears, meeting the lens directly. This required keeping my back straight, allowing the skirt to flare naturally while flattering the leg lines safely. Because of the shorter hemline, careful posture adjustments were crucial to prevent wardrobe slips. The photographer placed side fill lights to sculpt three-dimensional facial planes.
The second frame was a standing composition, reaching out toward the camera with my left hand palm-up, slightly angling my torso. This pose required steady arm control while letting the twin braids drape over my shoulders to create foreground depth. The surrounding pink and white flowers echoed the dress palette seamlessly.
Prior to shooting, the photographer and I aligned on the desired mood—emphasizing the fresh clarity of a greenhouse garden. Beyond rich greenery, the set incorporated daisies and roses. Posing on a suspended swing looked effortless but demanded engaged core stability to maintain stillness while keeping the braids positioned correctly for framing, often holding a posture for minutes while confirming focus and composition.
Regarding garment details, the skirt's jacquard weave caught the light with subtle luster, while the patterns on the Pantyhose added tactile dimension. The heel straps were tied securely to prevent slipping during movement. Between takes, the assistant helped groom the wig and skirt, touching up powder on my nose.
Convention and studio shoots often require extended wear, making a lightweight base essential. A featherlight foundation set with mist prevented unwanted shine, while understated eye makeup prioritized clean lashes and eyeliner for vivid clarity. After several hours, we wrapped this Xiao Wu cosplay smoothly—the harmonious blend of pink and green, paired with natural unforced gestures, captured a soft spring-like tenderness.
