[Kasumizawa Miyu cosplay] Blue Archive: The Bunny ears Girl Sprouting from a Trash Can

For this Kasumizawa Miyu shoot, I chose a trash can as the central prop. Before the shoot, I communicated extensively with the photographer on how to leverage such a high-contrast prop to fit the character's persona. To make the poses look natural yet subtly awkward, I experimented with several seated postures on the trash can. Regarding leg positioning in particular, because I wore White stockings, the photographer intentionally used side backlighting to highlight the edge contours of the legs. This not only better showcased the texture of the White stockings in dim light, but also elongated the leg lines. The outfit featured a blue sailor suit paired with a green tie; the collar pleats were meticulously ironed prior to shooting so they stayed crisp during larger movements. The rifle and trash can lid served as props that created a strong contrast with the character. A wide aperture blurred the cluttered overhead exhibition lights in the background, making the subject pop. During the shoot, we had to ensure the text and graphics on the trash can didn't overexpose from reflections, which required precise control over positioning and angles. In micro-expression management, paired with low-angle shots, eye focus was especially crucial to elevate the character's cute and mysterious charm. Post-processing color grading centered around this blend of stoic coolness and playful charm while preserving the pure aesthetic of the White stockings and white shoes, making this a truly distinctive Blue Archive cosplay photography endeavor.
