The outdoor location shoot at Guangzhou CICF always brings surprises. This time, I wore this classic white and blue sailor suit paired with twin tails, making the overall color tone very clean. In post-processing, we deliberately preserved that translucent Japanese-style airiness, which, combined with the natural sunlight, made the color layers of the frame softer. The design details of this uniform are rich; from the lines of the collar to the pleats of the skirt, special attention to angles is required during dynamic snapshotting. Thanks to Jun-ge for scouting locations with me this time, we found these streetscapes that are full of life. For instance, when sitting by the roadside, utilizing green plants as a blurred background can beautifully integrate the character with the urban environment. The second photo of lifting the skirt hem was actually a spontaneous snapshot; the moment the breeze blew, the arc of the skirt lifting up just happened to form a great visual guiding line. The atmosphere at Guangzhou CICF has always been enthusiastic, but choosing a relatively quiet street section for shooting can better create a casual atmosphere instead of purely piling up convention elements. White over-the-knee socks paired with black uniform shoes is also a classic uniform styling formula, which elongates the visual proportions nicely. The composition combined centering and the rule of thirds, making the frame balanced yet leaving room to breathe. In fact, when shooting this kind of Japanese-style aesthetic uniform style, the focus is not on complex actions, but on the expression of the eyes and a natural state of interaction. Every click of the shutter is a record of the emotion at that exact moment, and I hope the vibe in these convention photos allows everyone to feel this summer crispness.
