Bringing Hoshimi Miyabi from Zenless Zone Zero to life was ultimately a test of channeling the commanding, razor-sharp presence of a Void Hunter. As head of Hollow Special Operations Section 6, her lore radiates disciplined lethality; in a minimalist white cyclorama studio stripped of ambient clutter, every breath, micro-expression, and physical posture is magnified under intense scrutiny.

To mirror Miyabi's aesthetic, makeup deepened the outer eye corners with crimson gradients paired with reddish-brown contacts, injecting lethal focus into porcelain skin. The large black Kemonomimi girl fox ears were central to the look; crafted with lifelike fur texture, their realistic weight required careful balancing alongside waist-length raven locks so sudden turns wouldn't displace the bangs. The structured navy trench coat layered over a crisp collared white shirt, black tie, tactical harnesses, and military badges demanded unflinching posture.

Handling the Katana prop was physically exhausting due to its dense counterweight. Holding the drawn blade steady across the frame or resting it serenely across my lap while kneeling required continuous wrist, forearm, and core tension. Deep lunges and single-hand blade lifts called for active core engagement so wide-angle lenses wouldn't distort the pose. Seated in seiza posture on the floor, keeping the spine rigid while draping the skirt neatly conveyed a calm before the storm. Photographer Yumu's precision studio strobes carved out blade reflections and textile weaves, locking in Miyabi's controlled, lethal edge.
