[Hoshimi Miyabi cosplay] Countdown to Zenless Zone Zero, A Guest Photo Preview - Image 1

Zenless Zone Zero is 2 days away from official release. Today, I'm releasing a guest photo preview of Hoshimi Miyabi to give all you Proxies a sneak peek.

This Hoshimi Miyabi look has so many details. The lake-blue outer jacket and yellow accents restore the core visuals, and wearing it in the studio—paired with the "H.A.N.D" emblem on the chest and the necktie—instantly makes me feel that capable, agent-like vibe. The red rope knots and the black rigid arm guards are crucial parts of the overall styling; the wrapping effect not only adds layering but also creates a great visual anchor when holding the blade.

The long sword in my hand was the highlight of the shoot. To capture a more fierce momentum, we specifically chose props with a heavy metallic texture. The center of gravity is stable in hand, and when coordinated with the reflections scanned by the lighting, it truly reveals the sharpness of the blade.

This shoot took place at the HoYo Wonderful House. Their Zenless Zone Zero scene layout is truly one of the highest-restoration sets I've seen so far. The dark bookshelf in the background fills the depth of field, and paired with cold-toned lighting and a large area of strong backlight on the left, it adds a cinematic feel to the entire frame. The light beams brought out by the backlight perfectly enhance Hoshimi Miyabi's quiet yet oppressive aura.

During the shoot, I kept refining the eye details with the photographer. After all, the Hoshimi Miyabi character isn't designed with explosive emotions; she relies more on a steady gaze and movements to convey her aura. Therefore, after many frames, we immediately checked the playback to adjust micro-expressions. The wearing experience of this outfit is also worth mentioning; the jacket's tailoring and the tightness of the belt are just right, not affecting the sword-swinging movements. During breaks, I could easily switch between different sword-holding poses; it's very comfortable, allowing me to focus better on my demeanor.

The studio experience was very smooth. The costumes at HoYo Wonderful House are well-maintained, and the wig texture is smooth and natural with no messy broken hair at the ends. The support for the rabbit ears on top of the head is strong enough that they don't collapse when bowing or moving too much—this is a key factor in ensuring frame integrity. To provide some visual pre-heating before the public beta, we shot several different scene sizes, including medium-shot close-ups and full-body standing poses. I chose this one for the premiere mainly because the power in the gaze under this light and shadow state is very strong, directly echoing the character's intrinsic temperament.

I will continue to organize the content for this formal photoset over the next few days. I look forward to meeting everyone again with an even better finished state. Whether it's the scene restoration or the costume details, we are doing our best to stick to that atmosphere before the public launch. Considering this character's skills and settings, I believe there will be even more gameplay content after the release that will allow us to create more interesting frames with Anime-style fashion.
