Cosplaying Shirasu Azusa—specifically the summer variant (Mizuki cosplay)—from Blue Archive involved both intensive prep and an eventful day on the convention floor that are well worth documenting. The centerpiece of this Angel costume was undoubtedly the expansive white feathered wings secured via shoulder harnesses, which required constant vigilance while navigating through crowded aisles. Given the convention hall's erratic lighting, we scouted a clean, well-lit corner. The photographer framed angles masterfully: the first full-length portrait showcased the complete wingspan and pastel palette, while the second focused on waist-up framing to capture intricate facial and wardrobe textures. Violet-blue contact lenses paired with defined eye makeup aligned seamlessly with Azusa's demeanor. The third capture offered a close-up on the lower body; to complement the pink-and-white harmony, I styled pale strappy wedge sandals on bare legs without hosiery, which visually elongated leg lines before the camera.

The outfit itself boasts delicate craftsmanship: a pink-and-white pinstriped top anchored by an oversized pastel pink chest bow alongside deep navy accent ribbons, creating crisp color blocking. The tiered striped ruffles of the skirt delivered fluffy volume, though the hemline required frequent smoothing between takes to prevent curling. The sheer white striped outer cape draped gracefully, accented by baby-blue ruffled trims that billowed elegantly during motion. The ornate headpiece combined a gilded halo, a pink polka-dot bow, vibrant floral clusters, and crystalline light-blue fragments, adding noticeable weight to the wig. Rainbow bead necklaces infused playful elven charm. Managing layered fabrics, hefty wings, and walking on wedges through convention heat was physically demanding, yet seeing the refined lighting and crisp character fidelity made this Convention photography showcase entirely worthwhile.
