[Laffey cosplay] Azur Lane Bunny Castle Lord: Cherry Blossoms Under the Moon and Lazy Daily Life

The theme of this shoot is Laffey from Azur Lane, specifically her Bunny Castle Lord look. Many commanders have mentioned before that they wanted to see me cosplay Laffey, and this time I have finally put the plan on the agenda. To recreate this character's temperament, I made a lot of preparations from the makeup to the wig styling. The character's white hair and bunny ears are the soul; this time I specially adjusted the wearing angle of the bunny ear style, hoping to present that lazy yet slightly clever vibe of Laffey.

Regarding the costume, this black-and-gold color scheme Japanese-style coat was actually where the most effort went into the design. To highlight the Castle Lord identity, the wrapping style of the belt and the neckline details of the coat were repeatedly adjusted many times. As for the props, the wooden chair was built on-site, with Japanese lanterns and rockery stones beside it. The overall setting is themed around cherry blossoms under the moon, and the lighting on location was excellent, especially that massive moon prop in the back. Complemented by cool-toned fill light, it directly created a quiet night atmosphere.

During the shoot, many interactive details involved being barefoot, taking off shoes, and sitting cross-legged. Since Laffey's setting is inherently a very relaxed state, I also tried my best to immerse myself in that lazy rhythm. The photographer really knows how to catch expressions; some of the more casual movements actually turned out better than the posed ones. The overall post-processing concept for this set of photos leans toward an Anime cosplay artbook texture, which preserves real skin texture while enhancing the clothing's fabric lines and the scene's depth. The red-and-black color scheme clogs placed to the side were also meant to increase visual balance. I hope everyone can feel the dedication put into this setting and the character's recreation accuracy.
