Putting on this blue-and-white color scheme outfit, wearing the fluffy white collar and the iconic bow hair accessory, I feel like I instantly entered the state of Kamisato Ayaka from Genshin Impact. This shoot was deliberately chosen in an indoor setting with Japanese-style shoji paper doors and tatami mats, combining elements of cherry blossoms and paper umbrellas to create a peaceful and romantic atmosphere. The paper umbrella and folding fan in my hand are both detailed accessories of this outfit. When holding them, I needed to pay special attention to the angles to restore that elegant yet slightly heroic feel of the character.

The wig features a light blue style with straight bangs. The side locks and the blue gemstone hair ornament on top were finely secured according to the design to avoid shifting when walking or posing. For the makeup, I focused on defining the eye contours and transparency. Paired with purple colored contacts, I hope to convey that gentle yet determined gaze of the Shirasagi Himegimi. During the shoot, I experimented with sitting and kneeling postures, both to maintain the layered look of the skirt hem and to make the fan or umbrella echo the body lines.

The photographer is excellent at capturing light and shadow. The side light filtering through the shoji doors made the character's silhouette more three-dimensional, and the main blue and white color scheme looked exceptionally pure under this light. The plush part and embroidered lace of this costume have a wonderful texture on camera. Every time I put on such character clothing, I can't help but ponder her personality and habitual movements. As an earnest attempt at 2D cosplay, I truly enjoy this process of projecting myself onto a beloved character. From the trimming of the wig to the color scheme of the accessories, every step was to get closer to the impression everyone has of her. I hope this set of photos can convey that peace and elegance belonging to Inazuma.
