On July 4th, I will serve as a One-day store manager at BitCity Dimensional Town in Futian District, Shenzhen, dressed up as Moria Ruruka. For this offline gathering, I started organizing the costume and props several days in advance—from styling and combing the wig to carefully inspecting the details of the dark green capelet and gold trim, no single step was overlooked.
Moria Ruruka hails from Detective Precure!. To faithfully capture her character, I prepared the black thorny headdress embedded with blue gems, alongside the signature wand prop adorned with card accents. The outfit features rich layering: the white ruffled inner blouse and black bow tie require special care to keep flat and wrinkle-free, while the outer capelet needs to retain its clean shape as I walk around. For a cosplayer, a costume must not only look fantastic on camera, but also hold up comfortably during long hours at an offline event; thus, I made thoughtful adjustments for fabric breathability and prop weight.
The event runs from 14:00 to 18:00 at shop GF-115A. As the One-day store manager, I will participate in everyday store routines like organizing merchandise and interacting with visiting customers. This is far more than a simple photo op; it is a chance to interact face-to-face with fellow anime fans. While I usually share most of my work online, offline events bring a completely different kind of energy, and everyone's warmth always recharges me completely.

The on-site environment and lighting differ considerably from a controlled photography studio. This serves as a great exercise in professional discipline. After every event, I always review my performance to see what aspects can be polished further.
