[Hsin cosplay] Wuthering Waves BW2026 Booth Photos: Eye-Catching Fox-Eared Styling in Black, Red, and White

Taking the stage at BW2026, I showcased this costume for Hsin from Wuthering Waves. The visual impact of this ensemble is immense: anchored by a fitted black bandeau top, it integrates cascading white sheer gossamer and a voluminous vibrant red silk stole whose trailing ribbons boast breathtaking drape in motion. The crimson-and-blue dual-tone gem centerpiece across the décolletage serves as the visual anchor of the outfit, set within an ornate metallic casing and linked by delicate chains that caught and refracted stage spotlights brilliantly.

For hair and makeup, I donned a shoulder-length pure white wig to recreate the character's signature look. The oversized plush fox ears perched atop formed the structural core of the head styling; to ensure they stood upright without swaying, an internal wire armature was built in, accented along the edges by gilded leaf-and-branch hairpins. The eye makeup was rendered in vibrant vermilion tones paired with red contact lenses, complemented by a delicate crimson forehead mark. To withstand harsh stage lighting, the foundation was applied with a dewy, luminous finish, while the golden tassel drop earrings and slender necklaces were measured beforehand so they wouldn't tangle with the billowing red sash during movement.

Regarding the wearability, the costume is packed with accessories, especially the gilded waist ornaments and the floor-length skirt. The skirt features a dramatic high side slit revealing a starry galaxy print along the inner hem, which flashes the black safety shorts from profile angles. Standing for extended hours in high-heeled sandals on the exhibition stage naturally fatigued my feet, but holding a disciplined center of gravity and keeping the spine straight was essential before the lens to flatter the leg lines. Because the slit is cut so high, I monitored my strides and the directional drape of the hem while walking and backstage to maintain proper coverage. Resting my hands folded or gently catching the crimson silk fabric allowed my matching red manicured nails to echo the primary palette seamlessly.

The stage lighting environment demanded premium fabric textures. The bright red textile carried a subtle iridescent sheen that refused to look dull under harsh spotlights, while the white sheer tulle reflected a soft, gentle luminescence. I executed three core poses on stage: first, raising a hand to lightly trace the neck, allowing the lateral silks to drape naturally; second, clasping both hands gently around the chest gemstone; and finally, folding hands in front of the waist while locking a direct gaze into the lens. These three choreographed poses were planned to help photographers capture crisp bursts highlighting the garment's dimensional layers and leg contours from varying angles.

Wearing wide sleeves and trailing ribbons on an exhibition booth stage inevitably restricts physical range of motion, yet the completed fidelity of the look made every constraint worthwhile. From assembling accessories to setting the wig, every detail directly dictated the resulting camera capture. The stage lighting and booth scenography mirrored the fantastical aesthetic of Wuthering Waves, yielding clean, dimensional imagery.

The shooting session went exceptionally smoothly, with the booth's set design and lighting providing an ideal canvas for the costume. Reviewing the raw files afterward, the full-length compositions were framed cleanly, capturing the harmony of the high-slit skirt and leg styling. For a character with such intricate ornamentation, thorough pre-show prep and on-site vigilance proved equally vital.
