The venue space of Xiamen Ane Comic Con provided a stage backdrop perfectly suited for this look of Sparkle from Honkai: Star Rail. To restore Sparkle's playful yet slightly mysterious trait, the makeup features an elongated blending at the outer corners of the eyes, and the tiny tear mole under the eye along with the blush embellishments add a touch of agility to the overall demeanor. The light pink twintails wig displays an excellent texture under the lights, with the slight curling at the hair ends falling just around the collarbones, ensuring it doesn't look top-heavy due to excessive thickness; the balance of the overall styling is entirely supported by these details. The color-blocking of red and white on the costume occupies a large area, plus the embellishment of black and white checkered patterns, so the flowy angles of the skirt hem and cuffs needed to be well-controlled during composition to avoid blocking the lines of the props and arms. The cuffs were specially ironed and adjusted with micro-folds to ensure that the direction of the checkered patterns wouldn't get messy during movements, while retaining the layering of the ruffles. The texture of the staff in hand had its reflection specially treated in this attempt, so the combination of metal and red coating holds up the silhouette beautifully even in dim light; I found the right center of gravity when holding it to prevent the actual weight from making my shoulder posture look tense. The post-processing artist filtered out the cluttered lights of the convention venue, retaining the high-ceilinged steel frame background; this industrialized space instead highlights the vividness of the character's costume more directly, making the color contrast look much more impactful. The scattered playing card special effects added during shooting, along with the little elf rabbits floating on both sides, perfectly filled the negative space of the background, bringing a touch of dreaminess to the frame and giving the static picture a sense of narrative. The standing pose photo turned out with the cloak expanding quite naturally, and paired with the tightening feel of the platform ankle boots, the upper and lower physical extensions achieved a visual balance, letting my overall aura settle down. For Cosplay, the fit of the styling and the grip of the props both require repeatedly finding the center of gravity; the lighting atmosphere worked out with the post-processing team this time allowed both the character accuracy and frame completeness to reach a comfortable level.
