The lighting on the day of the TCD convention was fantastic, and photographer Pepzzr delivered consistently solid technical skill, resulting in Convention photos that exceeded expectations. While this Rem Cosplay outfit is classic, it is packed with intricate details, and the black-and-white maid dress offers the clearest textural depth. The black outer skirt, white ruffled lace, and the bow straps in the back all photographed with great fabric texture. The detached wide sleeves are another highlight, beautifully flattering the arm lines. The white floral hair accessory also matched the cool-toned photos wonderfully. The shoot took place inside the convention hall with quite a crowd passing by. The photographer found an open space with a softbox where the light was very gentle, nicely bringing out the texture of the white skirt hem and lace. Since these are Cosplay convention photos, staff members and light stands were inevitably in the background, but by using a wide aperture for background blur, the photographer actually enhanced the overall atmosphere. For posing, I tried looking back over the shoulder while standing, sitting with extended legs, and lifting the skirt hem. The seated leg-extension set really tested leg lines; paired with White stockings and black platform Mary Janes, it not only brightened skin tone visually but also elongated body proportions. During the shoot, I had to keep an eye on the skirt placement, manually arranging the folds so the petticoat shape looked as full and round as possible. Since it was at a convention, wearing this in hot weather was undeniably stuffy, especially with the thick cuffs and collar. However, to get great shots, I closely coordinated with the photographer's angles, adjusting my gaze and poses to capture the character's temperament. The post-processing for these photos mainly focused on a cool gray tone, preserving skin translucency and highlights to better match the overall vibe. The most fun part of taking Cosplay convention photos is meeting fellow cosplayers and creators, and sometimes passersby would call out the character's name. Compared to indoor studio shoots, Cosplay convention photos are more dynamic and lively precisely because the environment and lighting are unpredictable. On-site adjustments relied heavily on communication, and the photographer was super helpful in fluffing the skirt. The skirt swayed dynamically while walking, and capturing those motion moments added rich depth. I look forward to taking more high-quality Cosplay convention photos in the future. I'm very pleased with the final result; both costume details and leg lines were showcased at their best.
