Sharing a set of Xishi cosplay photos from Honor of Kings, captured in Diejiao Market, Foshan Nanhai. The ensemble features a blue-and-white design paired with white heeled boots, blue lace-up ribbons, and a translucent sheer overlay skirt. To harmonize with the historic water-town atmosphere and Diejiao's Dragon Boat Festival racing heritage, we selected two distinct shooting environments. One was an indoor vintage restaurant featuring brick walls, wooden tables, and carved patterned chairs under warm ambient lighting, where we framed intimate portraits seated beside the tables. The other was an open outdoor garden terrace boasting expansive green lawns and weathered wooden benches bathed in crisp, luminous daylight. For a prop, I carried a translucent pink flower crafted from sheer organza, which proved wonderfully versatile across compositions.

Several poses were carefully choreographed: resting one leg against the wall visually elongated the lower body lines, using the heeled boots to flatter overall proportions, while sitting on the outdoor bench highlighted an effortless posture centered around the floral prop. The high-slit cut of the skirt naturally accentuated leg lines and silhouette definition. Since the ACGN parade coincided with the bustling Dragon Boat Festival holiday, the venue was packed; we specifically sought out quieter, secluded corners to ensure clean framing and a high keeper rate. Shooting wide open on a prime lens yielded creamy background bokeh that cleanly filtered out bustling crowds. In post-production, the color grading was steered toward a refreshing cool-blue tone that complemented the blue-and-white wardrobe. With high temperatures throughout the day, dialling in setups, touching up makeup, and detangling the hanging tassels took considerable patience, ultimately delivering a wonderfully rewarding set.
