The soul of this Xishi "Cheng Liyao" look from Honor of Kings lies in the elusive "water sense" and agility. To restore this character, I put a lot of practical work into the drape of the clothing, especially those layers of light, pale blue tulle; I had to ensure that when walking or turning, it could present a rhythmic sense like flowing water. In styling design, I also paid great attention to accessory details; the metallic decorations and the silhouette of the headpiece should show a cold yet gorgeous texture under light and shadow, which is exactly the charm of Xishi as a character. During the shoot, I tried many different angles and poses, striving to capture the moment of the character's graceful posture in water. Actually, to pursue this "ethereal aura," the alignment and light adjustment on site were a real test of patience, and I even had to make repeated adjustments for a perfect dynamic turn. But when I saw these flowing clothes and moving colors intertwined in the final photos, all the hard work turned into visual enjoyment. Every detail polished was a better tribute to this classic character of Honor of Kings. I hope that through these photos, you can feel my love for this work and the restoration of the character's soul.
