This set of Genshin Impact Nahida Cosplay photos is a real-scene shoot that I've been extremely satisfied with recently. The entire gear primarily revolves around three colors: white, green, and gold, striving to visually present a clear, bright, and natural elf texture. The skirt is an A-line sleeveless miniskirt; the green and gold patterns and cloud motif designs on the chest fit the character's original styling details perfectly. There is also a ring of white plush decoration on the edge of the skirt hem, which makes the overall visual look cuter and lighter, weakening the monotony that a purely white outfit might bring. The neckline part of the top adopts a patched design, which both retains the geometric features of the game and enhances the layers of the clothing.

I specially reinforced the details of the gold headpiece and flower wreath because there were many head movements during the shoot, making it necessary to ensure the hair accessories wouldn't fall off or skew when turning around or looking back. Among these, the most painstaking part when recreating the character was these pointed elf ears; they not only had to look natural but also fuse seamlessly with the wig without any sense of violation. This time, I specifically trimmed the wig into layers so that the hair ends could just cover the edges of the ears, creating a looming elf feel. The green bracers and gold bracelets on the arms were also chosen in a lustrous material, flashing slightly under the sunlight, enriching the texture of the frame.

In daily outdoor shooting, choosing the background is highly critical. This shoot didn't choose a complex studio shoot but utilized a large area of floor-to-ceiling glass windows for a real scene. Paired with the green vegetation and grey metal railings outside the window, the overall color tone has moderate saturation without interference from stray light. The greatest benefit of this natural light photography is that it requires no complex lighting setup; the figure can obtain excellent side lighting near the window, making the facial contours three-dimensional and the skin texture look translucent, keeping the frame colors clean and bright. In the first picture, I made a viewfinder gesture with my hands, my eyes looking forward through the gaps between my fingers. This movement carries that curious and lively vibe unique to elves. I specially selected this as the cover because the whole person is in a relaxed yet agile state, and the leg lines, combined with the high-heeled open-toe shoes, visually elongate the proportions.

The second picture shows a saluting and gazing action, standing by the railing as if observing movements in the distant forest. The third picture is a well-behaved standing pose with both hands placed at the chest neckline, delivering a quiet and gentle visual experience. The fourth picture displays me wearing a small white-and-green interwoven flower wreath; the feeling in this one is even more divine, somewhat like an elf standing in the hall of wisdom listening to sounds. Actually, before putting on this gear, what worried me most was the stability of the shoes. This kind of white high-heeled sandals with calf armor, though visually elongating the legs tremendously, easily slips on these polished tiles. To pursue a perfect photo output effect, I repeatedly adjusted the center of gravity of my standing posture, and in the end, this set of photos looks very well-supported and protective.

Throughout the entire shooting process, I tried my best to keep a soft expression, because the character Nahida inherently carries a pureness and holiness detached from the mundane world. For colored contacts, I selected a pink style without using overly exaggerated pupil-enlarging lenses, which, paired with earth-toned eyeshadow, made both eyes look both spirited and carry that agility exclusive to Dendro characters. This cosplay outfit took a vast amount of my painstaking effort from material preparation to adjusting and tailoring, and after the final photos came out, I felt all the time spent was definitely not in vain. Real-scene photography often exposes problems more easily than a studio shoot, but it can also bring more vivid light and shadow effects. I hope that through this sharing, the unique charm of the coexistence of innocence and divinity in the character Nahida from Genshin Impact can be vividly recreated through real-scene Cosplay photography.
