Today I shot Cissia from Zenless Zone Zero at the P2 studio space, and the visual impact of this look far exceeded expectations. To channel her lively agility and technological edge, meticulous effort went into everything from styling the wig to fine-tuning garment layers. Golden locks paired with crimson contact lenses and slightly sharper eye makeup paid off with a striking on-camera presence. The outfit features layered complexity: a cropped red tank layered under a white ruffled-sleeve bolero, accented by branded black armbands. The bottom half pairs an asymmetrical black mini skirt with sheer black Stockings cosplay, rounded out with leather thigh garters and chunky platform boots for an unmistakable Cyberpunk style edge.

The P2 studio setting was packed with esports flair and high-tech Cyberpunk ambiance; sprawling LED displays and blue-violet mood lighting mirrored the costume's palette seamlessly. The polearm prop carried considerable bulk—its yellow spiral structure and pink-tipped head offered instant recognizability, demanding constant calibration between weapon placement and my body to prevent occluding the main silhouette. The white mechanical tail was another standout element, requiring mindful shifts in balance while walking or posing to make it appear as a natural, organic extension.

To align with post-production purple-white lightning arcs and spark bursts, I choreographed poses evoking bursts of raw energy—whether crouching along high platforms resting my chin in one hand, or gripping the polearm two-handed to exude confident, playful poise. Sheer hosiery popped vividly before the lens, which, together with the black-and-red platform boots, dramatically elongated leg lines. Because of the asymmetrical cuts and intricate strapping, each posture shift required resetting fabric folds to avoid wardrobe mishaps during dynamic leg lifts or low crouches. Resting a chin in hand may look effortless, but holding that pose for minutes on end to match the camera's height quickly fatigued the arm. Navigating steel trusses and steps in weighted platform boots also turned balance into a real workout.

Ambient lighting on set was quite intricate; balancing intense background display highlights against soft facial fill was crucial to pop the subject cleanly out of the futuristic environment. Teamwork with the photographer was completely in sync, often requiring only a nod or hand sign to lock in the desired frame. The yellow cabling on the weapon possessed substantial real weight, demanding arm power to maneuver. Repositioning the polearm as a bold foreground framing device versus angling it laterally shifted compositional dynamics entirely.

Despite subtle serpentine undertones, Cissia thrives on an energetic fusion of kinetic mechanical charm. The final selects blew past expectations—not only detailing the garment's craftsmanship, but elevating the dystopian atmosphere through post-production effects. This project was both a faithful character embodiment and an exhilarating creative dive into techwear fashion, preserving a deeply fulfilling set amidst the play of lights and shadows.
