These Ishtar convention photos are finally sorted out. Although the design combining a red blouse with a black high-waisted pleated skirt appears concise, wearing it in person truly puts the fabric's luster and tailoring crispness to the test. The oversized black bow cravat at the neckline serves as the visual centerpiece of the upper body, enriching layers while elevating the vintage aesthetic significantly. The puff sleeve design at the cuffs paired with gold buttons creates a lovely drape with every movement. To match this outfit, I specially selected deep red pantyhose stockings and black patent leather Mary Janes today; the red-black contrast is visually captivating, and the deep Red stockings work with the venue's lighting to flatter leg lines beautifully, making the overall look much more vivid within a cool-toned environment.

Caring for the wig also took considerable effort. The long straight silver-white hair and blunt bangs needed to remain impeccably sleek and smooth, while the tips were given a slight curl to add an airy flow when turning or posing. The star-shaped metal hair ornaments on the side were accented with red tassels, harmonizing with red contact lenses and eye makeup to give the gaze a sharp, captivating edge tinged with danger. For the eye makeup, I blended reddish shades and highlighted the inner corners and cheekbones, enhancing facial three-dimensionality before the lens—fitting that haughty, slightly wicked aura perfectly.

The shooting venue was relatively crowded, but we invested heavy effort into lighting setup. Combining overhead lighting with rim backlighting traced the subject's contours cleanly. In the first shot seated on silver reflective fabric, I leaned my weight backward with legs crossed, leveraging the vibrant red stockings against the silver reflective plane to produce a striking visual contrast. This seated posture maximizes leg proportions, while crossing my arms paired with an arrogant expression dialed the character's commanding presence up to the max. The subsequent standing shots explored more expansive poses, letting the arms and skirt hem form extended lines. In particular, the final snapshot with one leg raised and arms spread outward highlighted both the outfit's cut and a theatrical, stage-like dynamic tension.

I am immensely pleased with this set; both the depth of lighting and costume accuracy turned out exceptionally high. Cosplaying such an authoritative character requires constant adjustments to posture and gaze before the lens—from relaxing the neck to micro-movements of the fingers, every element must convey specific emotions. These convention photos haven't undergone extensive retouching yet, being mostly straight-out-of-camera or lightly color-graded, yet so many delightful frames already stand out. The official photoshoot is still waiting in the post-processing queue and will take a while before release, but I couldn't resist sharing the joy of this shoot first. Shooting continuously for hours and walking around in heels was quite draining, and all I want now is to remove my makeup and take a well-deserved rest.
