This set of Fate/Grand Order cosplay works themed around the Goddess of Venus has involved a lot of thought from scene design to character dynamics.

For the scene, we selected a backdrop combining flower clusters and Roman columns. The addition of a white birdcage and white gauze turned the originally rigid indoor space soft and dreamy. The lighting used high-key soft light to create an ethereal atmosphere, so the overall contrast of the frame is very small, looking highly translucent.

There are many asymmetrical clever touches on the costume. For instance, the over-the-knee black boot on the right leg features golden patterns, while the left arm features a sapphire blue sleeve cover. Combined with the black and gold collar at the neck, the overall layering is very strong. For hair accessories, black tulle knots on both sides were chosen. Paired with red-pupil makeup effects, it presents a cold, elegant, and spirited appearance. Regarding the staff prop, its center of gravity is actually quite far forward, so when holding the staff while sitting, the arm needs to maintain balance to steady the visual effect, which poses a certain test for shoulder strength.

Actually, in the process of Anime-style photography, it's not just about showcasing the costume; how to express the character's temperament through body language is far more important. Therefore, this time I tried various angles such as sitting and side-lying, not limited to regular standing postures. The soft background environment made it relatively easy for me to enter the state, and every time my gaze focused, I hoped to exude a sense of worldly detachment and composure. Besides the front view, I specially asked the photographer to shoot a few low-angle upward perspectives, aiming to reinforce that high-and-mighty divine visual effect.

Since light-colored frames easily lose their three-dimensional feel, during post-processing adjustments we retained some grayscale in the dark areas, allowing both the white gauze and the skin to surface with delicate textures. Meanwhile, because there are many white and gold elements in the costume, to prevent the frame from overexposing, we conducted highly precise tests on the lighting ratio during the early lighting setup. This set of work is one of the attempts I am personally relatively satisfied with. The entire process from setting the makeup look to wrapping up went smoothly, and I hope to directly convey the character's unique charm through the lens.

Additionally, to fit the character image in the makeup treatment this time, I deliberately discarded overly sweet colors, using minimalist eyeliner and light-colored eyeshadow to outline the contours, paired with the iconic red pupils to present a unique cold elegance. The colors of the floral arrangements on site were also repeatedly selected to soften the transition between cold and warm tones, making the character's primary visual prominence stand out even more. Although holding poses for a long time while wearing this heavy metal-decorated outfit brings a bit of minor fatigue, seeing the frozen frames on the screen makes me feel that all the effort was completely worth it.
