[Perlica Cosplay] Arknights: Endfield, Late-Night Techwear Stroll Outside the Convention

For this nighttime outdoor session at Firefly ACG Expo, I completed this Perlica cosplay set of Convention photos together with photographer NightDiva. The temperature that day wasn't too low, but to achieve the best photo outcome, I insisted on wearing the full gear. The silver-white wig had its bangs pre-trimmed, worn alongside a fluffy animal-eared headband; to prevent stray hairs from curling up, I set the hair roots with hairspray. I chose small-diameter blue contact lenses paired with blended orange-red eyeshadow to accurately capture the character's cool and aloof gaze.

Regarding the outfit, a white sleeveless dress features black turtleneck paneling, with the jacket design being the most intricate—its silver glossy lining reflects vividly under nighttime flash units, complemented by metallic zippers, belt buckles, black waist straps, and tag emblems. Styling the jacket off one shoulder exposed collarbone lines without losing the character's tactical techwear vibe. The costume has a crisp structure yet lightweight fabric, avoiding any bulky appearance while standing. Black tights and pointed high-heeled ankle boots served as key elements for successful shots; the bold contrast between black and white added rich layering to the look, while high heels significantly elongated leg lines on camera.

The location was a pedestrian street outside the exhibition center, framed by lush greenery in the background, relying entirely on adjustable color-temperature LED softboxes brought by photographer NightDiva. We experimented with various lighting angles, finding the most satisfying setup placing the key light diagonally above to the right for side lighting, creating a lovely rim light along the edge of the silver hair while illuminating the jacket's silver lining. During the shoot, I varied my poses—sitting on a black high bar stool holding a pink plushie, looking back with a hand on my waist, and dynamic shots with raised arms while turned sideways. Among these, sitting on the stool was my favorite because it fully displayed the dress folds and black tights' texture while the plushie added a touch of everyday warmth.

As it was a nighttime outdoor shoot, many passing tourists and visitors filled the background, so the photographer deliberately avoided cluttered signs and used a wide aperture with a telephoto lens to blur out background distractions. In post-processing, skin smoothing was kept subtle to preserve realistic skin texture and wig strands, focusing instead on tuning highlight and shadow contrast for a clean, luminous image in this Anime-style photography set. Before shooting, I double-checked accessory placements against original character designs from Arknights: Endfield—including the red-and-blue neck tags, sleeve zipper heads, and the belt label reading \"BOFENG\"—restoring every tiny detail meticulously.

Outdoor lighting at conventions differs vastly from studio setups due to complex ambient light, but fortunately, the fill lights were powerful enough. We shot for over half an hour, capturing nearly a hundred raw photos before selecting these nine as our final Convention photos share. I particularly adore the cold, sleek atmosphere of the entire set, blending the character's inherent style with unique nighttime photography tones. I hope these photos allow fans of this setting to feel our dedication to detail, and many thanks to the photographer for squeezing out time amidst a high-pressure convention schedule to produce such high-quality shots.
