[Iuno cosplay] Dynamic Studio Portrait Moments of the Blue Hair Exotic Style - Image 2

This blue hair exotic style look underwent careful selection and pairing, from the wig to the accessories. Before the shoot, I specially adjusted the position of the crown to ensure it blended naturally with the long blue hair. The golden collar and armband elements stood out exceptionally well in the solid grey background of the studio portrait environment, creating a striking color contrast with the light texture of the white gauze skirt.

The costume's structure is actually more complex than it appears; the chest area features extensive metal splicing and hanging tassels, and the upper body is mainly secured by a ring buckle around the neck. To recreate the character's sense of lightness, the lower body used a high-slit sheer fabric over black underpants. The lower half is connected by a long gradient gauze skirt transitioning from white to blue, which creates a very flowy visual extension when walking or blown by the wind. The left leg features a metal leg ring, paired with strappy high-heeled sandals; this high heel look with its precise amount of skin exposure perfectly elongates the overall body proportions.

In terms of makeup, I intentionally used reddish-orange eyeshadow for accents, which creates a strong visual contrast with the cool-toned blue hair. The lip color is a light nude shade; this makeup style keeps the face from looking too heavy surrounded by metallic gold accessories, instead exuding a refreshing vibe.

This shoot relied heavily on photographer @Sniper's on-the-spot capturing ability. Because I wanted to express an agile and free-spirited feeling rather than rigid standing poses. The dynamic sense of hair blown by the wind in Image 2 was achieved through joint coordination between the photographer and me. The single-leg standing pose is a huge test of body balance, especially while wearing the high heel look shoes; you not only need to control your center of gravity but also keep your upper body arms stretched out and your eyes natural. Such dynamic captures usually cannot be done in one take; it often requires rapid posture adjustments within seconds, relying on the photographer's skill to freeze that exact moment.

Although the whole outfit looks light and thin on the surface, the overall weight is not low when over a dozen metal accessories and ornaments are stacked together with the fluffy wig. The metal collar around the neck, in particular, brought a certain degree of pressure after long hours of shooting, requiring constant breathing adjustments. However, after seeing the resulting photo effects, I feel all the hard work was worth it because the unique temperament of this exotic style role-playing game character was truly shown in front of the camera.

There was also a lot of preparation work before the shoot. Besides combing the wig to give it a fluffy, airy feel, the armbands on the arms and the straps on the feet had to be tightly secured in the proper positions to prevent them from slipping during dynamic movements. The white sheer skirt actually has delicate gold thread pattern prints; these small details were perfectly restored during the studio portrait against the grey background, giving the overall styling more depth.

Overall, this was a very fulfilling studio portrait experience. From coordinating the makeup and outfit to the expressiveness in front of the lens, everything was an attempt to precisely tap into the aura that an Iuno cosplay should have. With no complex outdoor interferences, relying purely on costume materials, makeup textures, and body language to complete the shaping of the character's image is, in itself, a great way of expression.
