[Iuno cosplay] Wuthering Waves Convention Photos: The Blue-Haired Astrologer Beneath the Astrolabe

These convention photos feature Iuno from Wuthering Waves, where I personally managed every phase from costume styling and posing to camera triggering and editing. The wig features a dual-tone blue-and-white gradient styled into twin tails, conditioned with heavy setting spray to retain airy volume throughout the day. A bespoke starburst metallic headpiece rested overhead, requiring careful balance while traversing convention halls.

Serving as both model and photographer, I paid meticulous attention to costume engineering: a metallic gold bustier beneath translucent chiffon blouses and flared skirts, complemented by a gilded thigh garter and strappy white gladiators. Simulating a weightless, levitating stance—raising both arms while tucking one knee—demanded sustained core engagement to freeze mid-air motion. Behind me, a borrowed oversized astrolabe prop gleamed under convention illumination, its embedded blue gems catching natural highlights.

To overcome crowd clutter and harsh ambient lighting, I opened the aperture to dissolve distracting onlookers into creamy bokeh, directing side-frontal fill light to define facial planes and separate metallic sheens from sheer fabrics. Upward-angled framing lent commanding celestial gravity to the composition.

Cosplay post-production was dialed toward a cooler palette, emphasizing the contrast between azure blues and burnished gold. The floating geometric crystal shards drifting in the backdrop were hand-painted in software, each aligned along natural kinetic arcs with custom directional lighting and motion blur to ensure realistic integration.
