The Lynae cosplay I did this time truly amazed even myself. When I got the raw photos sent by the photographer, my first reaction was, "This is practically me!" The hair color and braid details were restored perfectly, especially the bony-textured side braids and the skull hair accessories on the bangs. I intentionally adjusted their angles to let them drape naturally along the sides of my face. Paired with a casual yet sharp gaze, it instantly captured that cool-yet-sweet vibe of the character.
On the day of the shoot, my state was actually very relaxed—it felt just like sitting in a gaming chair, listening to music, and playing games. With headphones hanging around my neck and casually making a V-sign with my hand, I didn't expect the snapshot to turn out even more vivid than an intentionally posed shot. For the outfit, I chose a short white jacket over an inner top, accented with green straps, along with black thigh-high socks and star tattoo stickers. The overall color scheme is very refreshing, contrasting beautifully with the blue-green background lighting, making it visually comfortable.
The photographer's control over light and shadow was incredibly professional; the facial contours are three-dimensional without being stiff, and the highlights hitting the hair strands made the blonde color look exceptionally translucent. Honestly, personality-wise, I also feel a bit similar to Lynae—a little tsundere and fun-loving—so this time, I wasn't acting at all; I was just being myself. For post-processing, we basically only fine-tuned the colors. The texture of the raw photos was already strong enough to stand on its own, with the skin texture and details of the hair strands perfectly preserved. This sense of reality is actually more charming than over-retouching.
Many friends asked about the makeup concept. I mainly emphasized that the base makeup must be clear and translucent, the eye makeup uses earth tones to deepen the contours, paired with slightly winged eyeliner to elongate the eye shape, and the lip color is a milk-tea shade to look natural yet radiant. Regarding props, besides the headphones, I also prepared small accessories in the same color scheme, but in the end, I found that the simpler it is, the more premium it feels. The entire process from styling to shooting went very smoothly. Thanks to the team for their cooperation, and thank you all for loving this version of me in this Raw photo sharing post showcasing my Blonde braids and E-sports girl cosplay style as part of my latest Anime cosplay project.
