Putting on this gear of Rossi, I was instantly infected by her competent yet slightly playful temperament. The white dress paired with the red-and-black color-blocked techwear jacket, along with the iconic beast-eared hoodie, gives a very rich sense of layering. This time, a wooden vintage-style indoor scene was specially chosen, wanting to utilize warm-toned light and shadow to highlight the costume's texture and fabric details. The designs of the waist straps and tactical pouches are very exquisite; combined with the black tactical boots, the overall styling retains the industrial hardcore feel unique to Endfield on top of being cute. The short blade prop in hand also underwent detailed spray-paint treatment, beautifully supporting the character's combat state when posing. During the shoot, I communicated the composition with the photographer, trying our best to let the flowy feel of the skirt hem and the silhouette of the hoodie present themselves naturally—not only restoring the agility of the official splash art, but also blending in some personal interpretation. In post-production, the background was slightly darkened in tone to make the main subject's red and white color scheme even more vivid. Every time I do an outdoor or studio shoot, the most enjoyable part is reconstructing a 2D flat character through 3D costumes, wigs, and props; this process is full of challenges and fun. Rossi's design has many elements; from the ring buckles at the neckline to the straps on the skirt hem, every detail is worth treating with care. I hope everyone can feel the effort spent behind this costume, and I look forward to unlocking different faces of more characters in the future.
