[Runami Yachiyo Cosplay] The Visual Combination of Pure White and Vermilion in Cosmic Princess Kaguya!

This Cosmic Princess Kaguya! Runami Yachiyo character styling requires balancing a complex costume structure with the character's playfulness. To better present the character, I specially adjusted the hair buns on top of the wig, using golden hair accessories as fixing points, paired with bangs and hair strands on both sides to create a light visual effect.

Regarding makeup, for these bright blue contacts, I chose a warm orange-toned eyeshadow to brighten the eye area, slightly elongating the outer corners, paired with a large area of pink-purple blush under the eyes, making the person look confident and lively in front of the lens. The lips use a nude rose lip glaze to ensure color unity across the entire face without being overbearing.

For this outfit, it contains many different layers of patchwork, which tests the flatness of the wear. The deep blue wide-sleeved outer garment has red piping, while the chest area uses purple criss-cross thin straps, becoming a visual finishing touch. The short skirt on the lower body uses a wide stripe pattern in black and yellow, with a white jagged wave hem, paired with a green pleated underskirt, making the overall silhouette and center of gravity very clear.

Regarding accessories, the paired pink plush doll can be said to be the soul of recreating this character's flavor. It has iconic bean eyes and rounded limbs, which not only balances the emptiness on both sides of the clothes when hung on the waist but also instantly shifts the overall temperament towards soft and cute. The oil-paper umbrella picked up during the shoot also provided me with many composition references, making it easier to perform richer physical movements.

During the process of shooting this set of photos, I tried different angles and prop usages, including mirror styling displays, half-body close-ups, and interactive poses with props. In Picture 3, holding the pink oil-paper umbrella allows the tailoring of the upper-body cross-straps and the leg lines of the stockings to be fully displayed. Through indoor lighting and the contrast of a blue background, the sharp color contrast between the white hair and the outfit is better highlighted. Although this outfit has many layers, the fabric is light and thin, so it doesn't restrict movement, and taking daily photos is quite smooth.

Every time I shape a look, it's not simply pursuing 100% replication, but hoping to add some personal shooting habits and dynamic expressions based on recreating the character. Like the last close-up of closing my eyes with the effect stick, it breaks the seriousness of regular photos well and increases the fun of the overall work.

Overall, this look balances gorgeousness with the convenience of daily photo shoots. I hope that through these flat images, everyone can feel the unique temperament and charm of this character.
