The visual core of this light blue Magical Girl cosplay look lies in the collision of textures and the layering effect. Under the overhead lights of the convention hall, the outer holographic tulle produces dazzling gradient reflections, and the multi-layered skirt hem—shorter in front and longer in back—gives the overall silhouette a more three-dimensional feel. To amplify the cute factor, I generously incorporated white plush pom-poms, lace trims, and dimensional patches shaped like stars, hearts, and four-leaf clovers across the chest and skirt hem. The bright blue satin ribbon at the waist creates a wonderful waist-cinching effect, making the overall proportions appear more slender.

In terms of hair and makeup, a light golden wavy bob was paired with cyan twin ponytails on both sides, topped with white animal ears and blue-purple gradient horn ornaments to evoke a fantastical visual effect. To match the overall cool palette, I deliberately chose bright blue contact lenses. The eye makeup used an extensive pink wash overlaid with glitter, while the blush and lip tint leaned toward a dewy peach pink to ensure a translucent, healthy complexion remained even under intense flash photography. Accessories for the limbs were equally refined: plush armbands on the arms, White over-the-knee socks with lace and blue crisscross straps on the legs, and platform bow-knot heels on the feet—all of which elongated the leg lines while echoing the sweet overall aesthetic of the Blue dress.

The magic wand in hand was an exquisitely customized prop. Its top features a hollowed-out cloud and heart contour accented by a crown and spiral textures, while blue ribbons and cloud charms dangle below. It had a moderate weight, making it very suitable for waving and posing during the shoot. For the on-site shooting at the convention, special thanks to photographer Naruse for capturing the candid moments. The background in convention environments is typically cluttered, but using the light flares formed by the venue ceiling lights as blurred background bokeh happened to build a dreamlike atmosphere. On that day, I had to balance on the platform shoes while managing the wand's grip posture to ensure my arm wouldn't block the light on my face, adjusting through countless angles before capturing a truly satisfying shot. Though moving through the expo in multi-layered garments was physically taxing, seeing the outcome rendered in the lens made every effort completely worthwhile.

Cinnamoroll says that all unhappiness will be turned into little sweet treats. This gijinka creation inspired by Cinnamoroll, from the plush accessories to the shimmering skirt hem, strives to convey healing and sweet emotions. As a cosplayer, from conceiving costume details and makeup tests beforehand to collaborating with on-site light and shadow, every single step requires rigorous dedication. Seeing everyone smile because of this outfit deeply infected me with the same joy. Every set of Convention photos is a retrospective of one's preparation stage, and I hope to bring more heartfelt stylings in the future.
