[La Pluma cosplay] Arknights Summer Swimsuit Look Showcase

This summer swimsuit look for La Pluma from Arknights is finally ready to share! The overall ensemble features a sporty jacket pieced in light blue and white with a purple zipper and clear vinyl accents along the collar and shoulders, worn over a white bikini set with matching swim bottoms and black wristbands. To stay faithful to the character design, I paired it with a white megaphone prop, wearing a pale blue clear tube, a yellow whistle, and a clear ID cardholder around my neck. The wig is styled in a deep grey tone, gathered into twin buns on either side of the crown with yellow floral ornaments and decorated with white feathers and butterfly hairpins. Makeup focused on the eyes with enlarging contact lenses, reddish-brown blending along the outer corners and lower lashline, paired with noticeable blush and peachy-pink lips for an energetic finish.

The shoot was split between outdoor and indoor locations. The outdoor setting took place in a lounge area featuring a water bar and drink coolers, backed by tiled flooring and various venue signs. I tried several poses with the megaphone, such as a one-handed salute, allowing the camera to capture the lines of the midriff. The second setup was an outdoor half-body close-up, where a white kitten sticker was added over the chest via mobile app to add a playful touch. The third setup moved indoors against a pure white backdrop under evenly diffused lighting, focusing primarily on close-up selfie angles while keeping the playful stray ahoge atop the head intact. Throughout the session, I continuously adjusted the angle of the megaphone and hand placements while keeping my back straight to highlight both the garment's silhouette and body contours.

Because this is a Swimsuit cosplay, movement needed careful calibration to express summer breeziness while preserving the character's crisp, capable demeanor. Wearing the jacket slipping off the shoulders was an intentional styling choice to reveal the white bikini while retaining the sporty feel of the outerwear. Under bright outdoor daylight, I deepened facial contouring to keep features from washing out. Moving indoors with even light tested the cleanliness of the makeup, so I softened the blush and contour slightly. The bangs and sideburns of the wig were carefully trimmed and set with spray to prevent them from blowing wild in outdoor breezes.

Looking through the final set, my favorite remains the first outdoor full-body shot—it has balanced composition, natural posture, and minimal heavy post-processing. I hope this summer look for La Pluma brings everyone a refreshing splash of cool breeze during the warm season!
