[Aria cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero KFC Collaboration Ver.: Delusional Angel with Pink Hair Twin Tails Descends

Tonight we wrapped up the shoot for Aria's KFC collaboration look from Zenless Zone Zero. Preparing this wardrobe took considerable forethought. The wig was styled in an eye-catching bright pink with cyan-blue dipped highlights on the inner tips; to give the twintails resilient volume and structure, I brushed them smooth with a steel comb and firmly anchored the twin black antennae accessories at the crown so outdoor breezes wouldn't tilt them out of place. The headset wasn't just a prop—wearing it on my head for hours left my neck noticeably sore.

For makeup, to mirror canon as closely as possible, I wore highly saturated bright blue contact lenses, sweeping a soft pink base across the eyelids with downward-drooping eyeliner to channel an innocent yet spirited gaze. Blush was kept sheer and light so strobes wouldn't make the skin look muddy. The outfit contains abundant details: a pink graphic vest layered over a yellow-and-white striped tank, complete with side and back ribbon ties that had to be smoothed down carefully before every take to avoid shifting during movement.

We picked a wooden boardwalk flanked by rope netting and safety railings, where scattered circular blue bokeh balls in the distant background enhanced the nighttime atmosphere. To add compositional layering, we brought along a wicker chair as a prop. During the shoot, I leaned heavily into body language to express the outfit's bounce and energy. For standing shots, I incorporated raised arms and one-legged hops to keep the garment's silhouette dynamic. When seated, I experimented with shifting my center of gravity on the chair—crossing my legs sideways or resting one knee on the seat while leaning forward. This showcased leg lines while allowing the fabric folds to drape naturally.

Although the styling incorporates pink knit arm warmers and Black stockings with black lace trims, the overall mood remains delightfully playful rather than rigid. The stockings took on a subtle luster under nighttime strobes, and the photographer adjusted fill light angles so rim lighting along my legs remained crisp and clean. Posing barefoot—resting directly against the textured ground or suspended mid-air—injected an unpretentious, authentic realism.

To lock down the best frames, I strove to keep every pose relaxed and fluid. Dialing in the right angle often meant fine-tuning shoulder heights and wrist angles repeatedly. Even though shooting at night was chilly, once the strobes fired, the energy remained vibrant throughout.

Stepping into this collaboration character as a cosplayer was a passionate journey. From tailoring garments to finishing final edits, every step demanded thoughtful communication and experimentation. A lot of time and heart went into this set, and I hope everyone can feel that breezy, cheerful vibe radiating from the photos.
