This time, a lot of thought went into everything from the hair, makeup, styling, and props for the Zhezhi cosplay shot at the Miyou Miaomiaowu cosplay venue. To recreate that gentle and somewhat scholarly expression, I specially wore these thin-framed glasses, combined with the blue hair ribbons for the twintails and a white lace choker. The overall color scheme focuses on a pink-and-blue gradient, gentle yet carrying a hint of cool elegance. During the photography session, bamboo curtains, screens, and antique-style furniture were used to create the atmosphere of an ancient study room or studio. The calligraphy scrolls behind me and the scattered painting scrolls were all meticulously prepared props. White stockings and feather-decorated shoes made the leg lines look lighter. Combined with the movement of holding a writing brush, I tried to capture that focused yet slightly lazy moment when she raises her brush to paint.
The lighting adopted a cool blue tone, contrasting with the warm wooden background to highlight the character's silhouette and the layering of the costume. What attracts me most about the character Zhezhi is her intellectual and quiet temperament, so I tried to slow down my movements in front of the lens and keep my gaze soft to give the frame more narrative depth. The streamers and sheer tulle shawl of this outfit create a wonderful dynamic effect under a gentle breeze. Although there was no strong wind, a sense of elegance and flow could still be showcased through pose adjustments. Every cosplay is a piece of recreation based on my understanding of the character. From wig trimming to makeup details, and then to on-site communication with the photographer, I hope every step can bring everyone a work that is closer to the original while carrying a personal style. Looking at the final photos, it feels as if the young girl who silently writes and paints in the world of Wuthering Waves has truly stepped out. This is probably the most fascinating part of roleplay.
