The Fanta collaboration version of Robin cosplay finally officially met everyone on Day 3 of Moeka Anime Convention! From the moment I decided to cosplay this collab look, the preparation turned out to be somewhat more intricate than expected. The costume design leans into a summer light-sports style: a loose white off-the-shoulder top that is breathable while nicely highlighting the neck and shoulder line, with colorful musical note patterns on the chest matching the character's intrinsic musical identity. The orange mini skirt instantly elevates the color saturation, while the elastic white waistband and polka-dot trim along the hem offer great textural detail. This high-saturation color palette heavily tests fabric texture; if the fabric were too soft it would look sloppy, but this tailoring struck the perfect balance between drape and structure.
Wig styling was a major focus for this look. The blue-purple gradient hair color with silver-white highlights exhibits an airy, translucent quality under both indoor lighting and natural light. A single long braid falls down my back, accented by a golden floating halo ring atop my head. Since the halo attaches to a hairpin, it not only required firm securing but also clever strand placement to conceal the support structure, creating a floating visual effect on camera. The small wings on my back feature gradient material with subtle shimmer; they sway gently as I walk. While the size of these wings might feel slightly dramatic for everyday wear, within the overall cosplay look, they add just the right touch of celestial elegance and playfulness. To maintain the wig's fluffiness, I pre-curled it with a curling iron, keeping natural volume at the crown when braiding.
For makeup, to capture the character's gaze and demeanor, I tried green contact lenses to brighten my eyes. For eye makeup, I drew crisp, extended eyeliner and placed star and heart sequin rhinestones along the lower eyelid. Combined with personal flair or subtle sun-inspired accents, this makeup popped exceptionally well at the exhibition, looking vivid and adorable on camera. I also brushed soft, pearlescent pink blush across my nose and cheeks to enhance natural flush and vitality. The blue choker around my neck and the orange wristband on my wrist echoed the collaboration outfit's primary color scheme, avoiding plainness across solid sections and adding depth to the costume.
Walking around the convention floor carrying that long prop nearly as wide as my shoulders was a huge eye-catcher! Although holding it while exploring the floor made my arms a bit sore, it served as a powerful visual memory point for Robin's collaboration form. Passing in front of photographers, it was almost impossible for their eyes not to be drawn to this large prop—some fellow fans even joked that it would be fun to swing it like a staff. The convention crowd was huge, yet walking through the crowd in this bright orange and white combo was undeniably eye-catching; every now and then, I heard people shout out the character or franchise name, which is the ultimate validation for a cosplayer. The large light arrays at the venue cast a soft glow on my hair, perfectly matching the luster of the golden halo atop my head.
For footwear, I paired white platform sneakers with matching white socks. The casual athletic feel matched the lively style of the outfit seamlessly, making walking extremely comfortable while visually elongating my leg lines for a balanced proportion. The orange laces also formed a fantastic color-coordinated echo with the skirt. For a convention requiring hours of walking, shoe comfort is truly the key factor determining one's mood all day. The platform cushioning was excellent; my feet didn't feel sore even by late afternoon, allowing me to stay energized before all the cameras.
For this Moeka Anime Convention, I arranged cosplays for three consecutive days. On Day 1, I cosplayed Xiaodie in a soft pink-toned look with a cute, obedient vibe. Day 2 featured Wang Guiren—a highly glamorous look where almost my entire body was wrapped in rich textures; although heavy, walking through the hall felt incredibly commanding. On Day 3, switching into Robin's collaboration set made me feel relaxed and lively again; the shift in vibe for each character truly influences a cosplayer's daily mood and venue experience. Cosplaying three different styles and weights across consecutive days was physically tiring, but the inner happiness and fulfillment are irreplaceable. Every outfit left special visual records at the exhibition, and I met many enthusiastic photographers and fellow fans.
Besides, conventions always bring fun coincidences. Like when I walked past McDonald's holding my long prop and another fan captured my back view from behind—these candid moments are often the most vivid, showing me at my most natural on the floor. To me, cosplay isn't just about putting on an outfit; it's an active way to showcase the charm of a work. Collaboration looks easily establish a playful rapport with attendees—connecting over a shared passion or collab event is inherently wonderful. This Robin collaboration look was a truly refreshing attempt, as I rarely get opportunities to cosplay energetic, sporty-contrast characters, and it taught me many practical tricks for wig securing and costume wearing. The entire experience was filled with surprises and challenges, making this three-day convention journey a deeply memorable one.
