[Robin Cosplay] Honkai: Star Rail Robin • Summeretto: Summer Stage Vibes

For this shoot, I chose Robin's Summeretto look from Honkai: Star Rail. In terms of styling, the short blue-to-purple gradient wig was essential, requiring patient styling to achieve fluffy layers and soft curls. To bring out the character's pure aura, I wore highly saturated emerald green contacts paired with wide-blended pink eyeshadow and blush to recreate that soft anime glow. Outfit-wise, the star-patterned white and blue gradient bikini top is a total eye-catcher. Combined with a blue choker, layered pearl necklaces, transparent mini wings on the back, and a vintage metal microphone in hand, the summer stage atmosphere truly came to life. I chose indoor curtains as the background for softer lighting, which also made it easier to add pink star elements in post-production for a dreamy touch. During retouching, I focused on enhancing the sparkle in the eyes while preserving smooth, translucent skin texture, aiming for an Anime-style photography look with realistic, figurine-like quality. There are actually many intricate details in this look—from the star hairpins to the fabric patterns and the white wrist wraps—all of which needed careful adjustment before shooting to maintain visual continuity. In the game, Robin is known for her mesmerizing singing voice, and her Summeretto design carries a lively, refreshing summer vacation feel. I aimed to capture this sweet yet slightly alluring vibe, using the microphone prop to add dynamic interactivity. The side profile of this outfit flatters body curves nicely, and the avant-garde central metal ring on the top adds a structured edge that balances the sweetness of the pink-and-blue palette. The composition focuses mainly on half-body close-ups to highlight facial features and delicate accessories. With the vibrant colors, keeping the curtain background clean avoided visual clutter and kept the focus firmly on the subject. The final results turned out great, especially the lighting, which gave the blue hair a lovely gloss that paired seamlessly with the green contacts. This shoot deepened my appreciation for Robin—though gentle, she holds a firm, radiant strength on stage. Preparing this outfit required studying official designs closely to match every accessory's placement and texture. The post-processing leaned slightly warm, turning the cool blues into a cozy summer feel. I hope these photos convey that refreshing, vibrant summer energy!
