Shooting Evanescia this time demanded considerable effort in hair, makeup, and pre-production. The long pink hair paired with her iconic long bunny ears placed high demands on head weight distribution and balance. On set, the greatest challenge was keeping the wig and ears angled perfectly during head turns and profile pivots. For makeup, I selected cool-toned light blue cosmetic contacts paired with pronounced blush and eye makeup, striving to faithfully reflect the character's facial expressions and demeanor. The costume formed the core of this look: a crisp white collared shirt paired with a red necktie, a black corset waist cincher, and a black skirt accented with intricate golden cuff detailing, delivering wonderful layered depth. To harmonize with the traditional washitsu setting, the lower body was styled with Black stockings, which flatteringly accentuated leg lines when sitting sideways across the tatami. The shooting process tested fluid continuity across poses; for instance, the side-seated pose with bent knees in the first photo required constant monitoring of the skirt pleats and the hosiery's sheen to achieve an optimal effect. The second photo holding a small pink cup demanded relaxed ease, while the third shot nibbling toast required a natural bite expression. Because ambient lighting on set was soft, framed against cherry blossoms and shoji paper doors, frequent adjustments to facial light angles were essential. Transitioning between diverse poses—especially shifting leg placements—relied heavily on tacit synergy with the photographer. The shoot was structured into two distinct stages: the first utilized tabletop props such as milk tea, beverages, and pastries to evoke a leisurely afternoon tea vibe, while the second incorporated a cute pink bunny charm to enhance playful charm. Although holding these poses proved physically tiring, the tactile finish and seamless environmental harmony of the final stills made it well worth the effort. This Japanese style Anime-style photography set radiated a quiet, lyrical beauty, serving as a thoroughly successful tribute to the character's distinctive charm.
