The on-site lighting and atmosphere at the Guangzhou Firefly ACG Expo were perfectly suited for this set of Robin Cosplay convention photos. The core focus of this styling was to recreate the character's inherent translucent and light, airy feel as faithfully as possible. Under the dual effect of natural light and fill lights, the ice-blue and white short hair produced an almost glowing radiance, with the edge of every hair strand outlined by soft highlights. Paired with green eyes, the overall color gamut achieved a vivid yet gently transitioning contrast.

This time, I chose to center the visual focus on facial features and accessories. The starburst sapphire accessory on the chest was the absolute centerpiece of the styling; the luster it refracted under the light served not only as the visual anchor of the costume but also resonated beautifully with the overall clear, translucent color theme. During shooting, photographer @不列颠大魔女 controlled the lighting impeccably. The actual shooting environment was somewhat cramped, but by adjusting angles, we successfully eliminated the cluttered background to capture this striking, highly atmospheric moment with the subject standing out.

In terms of makeup, to accentuate the vibrancy of the eyes, I emphasized the lower lashes and highlighted around the pupils, making the gaze more focused and lively. For the hair, the layers of the wig were carefully combed and styled before the expo to ensure a fluffy, flowing visual effect from any angle rather than looking flat or heavy. Although the breeze at the venue wasn't strong, it was just enough to gently sway the hair strands, adding a touch of dynamism.

From deciding on this outfit to actually attending the Firefly ACG Expo, the continuous checks and adjustments of details throughout the preparation were fully realized in these convention photos. Anime conventions are always bustling with people, so capturing the ideal shot within a short window requires seamless synergy with the photographer. We snapped the shutter quickly whenever an opening appeared, capturing the exact moment the light hit the accessories. This spontaneous and efficient approach gave the photos a fresh, natural vitality—far from rigid posing, it was an organic synthesis of venue lighting, character lore from Honkai: Star Rail, and styling performance.

Given the ever-changing lighting at the convention venue, beyond artificial fill lights, I actually prefer this blend of natural light and studio illumination. In the reflective details of the chest accessories, costume fabrics, and wig, we left adequate dynamic headroom to prevent overblown highlights from washing out original textures.
