Today's look was inspired by a desire to break away from conventional pink palettes, aiming for an aesthetic that feels both ethereal and subtly playful. For the cascading cherry blossom pink wig, I intentionally layered the cut and curved the tips slightly inward; combined with fluffy white pom-pom hair accessories on both sides, this added substantial volume to the head without letting the face look sparse. Because the character design incorporates pointed, elongated ears suited for an Elf ear style, I deepened the outer eye smudge and wore reddish-pink circle lenses to anchor the gaze. This interplay of red and pink can easily look muddy under intense illumination, so I chose a matte foundation base with targeted highlight points to preserve a pristine, translucent complexion.
The purple-and-white ensemble itself is rich with structural details. The neckline features traditional Chinese frog buttons framed by plush trims and white feather accents. To maintain fullness during the shoot, boning was sewn into both the skirt flare and shoulders, ensuring the plumage wouldn't collapse during active movement. The crimson teardrop pendant resting across the bust served as a focal highlight, leaping vibrantly against the cool purple-and-white tones. The plush white neck piece requires clean collarbone definition, so I stretched beforehand to keep my neck and shoulders relaxed on camera.

The venue was an indoor Dreamy indoor set design, where wooden easels, vintage streetlamps, and Roman columns came together to evoke the painterly mood of an oil canvas. For lighting, the photographer used softboxes to soften specular glare and keep skin textures supple. The blue and white petals scattered across the floor had been prepared well in advance, forming a crisp temperature contrast against my pastel hair and violet wardrobe. When posing, I crossed my legs and lightly propped one hand against the floor to reveal the skirt's arc while stretching the lower limb lines. Holding a single posture for minutes while projecting an easy, relaxed gaze is genuine physical labor—especially on slender stilettos balanced across wooden floorboards strewn with slippery petals. Shifting my weight slightly backward and pointing the toes allowed the lens to capture fluid, sweeping contours.
Shooting with feathers and plush trims demands endless patience, as stray petals continually cling to the fabric. During breaks, staff helped me clear away debris with lint rollers to keep every frame immaculate.
