[Elysia Cosplay] Honkai Impact 3rd: Elysia: Herrscher of Human Interprets the Pink color scheme Sea of flowers

The actual look of this Elysia: Herrscher of Human outfit exceeded expectations, especially the primary red-and-white color scheme accented with gold edge trim, standing out brilliantly against the built wooden window and floral set. Pairing the pink wig with elf ears was the core of the makeup and styling; to give the wig a more natural hair flow, I spent a long time pre-brushing it, and styling the direction of the anti-gravity bangs also took considerable effort.

The location was chosen next to a Chinese-style wooden lattice window, piled with an abundance of pink and white faux flowers along with a few pale blue blossoms as cool-toned accents. This blooming, clustered Sea of flowers setting echoed the red cherry motifs and white sheer tulle texture of the dress perfectly. During the shoot, the photographer mainly utilized natural afternoon side-backlight while using a reflector to brighten the face, ensuring the highlight areas in the frame took on a dreamy pink glow rather than blown-out harsh whites.

In the first shot, I sat on the floor reaching out toward the camera, which, paired with the slit red skirt and white over-the-knee socks, elongated the leg lines nicely in a frontal composition; gold chain ornaments on the white stockings added visual focus. In that snapshot moment, I maintained a natural smile looking straight into the lens to enhance interactive engagement. The second shot switched to a three-quarter side angle where my left hand held a peach blossom branch, with a warm-lit birdcage placed nearby as a foreground element, adding narrative depth to the image so the atmosphere emerged naturally without forced expressions. The third shot was a half-body close-up with my elbow propped on the wooden table supporting my chin—a pose requiring careful softening of the gaze to portray the character's playful yet gentle demeanor.

For makeup, I intensified the enlarging effect of the purple contact lenses and applied blush slightly high on the apple of the cheeks, making the face appear exceptionally plump under a wide aperture. When holding the translucent round silk fan, attention to angle was necessary to prevent reflections from breaking the softness of the frame, while using it as an extension of body lines. Because the outfit design combines a long skirt silhouette with shorter layers, I had to pay close attention to my sitting posture throughout to avoid exposure or excessive wrinkling. After shooting the entire day, despite constantly being poked by fake flowers, seeing the finished photos proved that this warm, high-key lighting treatment truly suited the character concept, leaving me very satisfied with the final photo set.
