This set of convention photos featuring Elysia Cosplay in her 'To Love' wedding dress has finally been compiled. The overall color palette is pink, white, and purple, looking visually very soft. To complement this styling, I began preparing every detail more than half a month in advance. The Pink wig was trimmed again—the short pink hair with bangs needed to create an airy sense of layering, and the subtle curls at the tips had to be shaped bit by bit with a flat iron so they wouldn't look stiff. Wearing the Elf ears was a major focus; to blend them seamlessly with my skin tone, I applied a generous amount of concealer along the edges for a smooth transition, accompanied by setting powder to ensure the makeup wouldn't budge after hours on site. For eye makeup, I chose blue contact lenses paired with pink eyeshadow and slightly prominent blush to stay true to the character's design. The facial highlighter was also applied generously to make the face appear plumper and more radiant.

The wedding gown has an abundance of details. This strapless white dress features an oversized purple rose and a bow at the waist, with blue-purple butterfly appliqués adorning the skirt hem. The veil at the back is very long, which, combined with the multi-layered purple-and-white flower headpiece on the right side of the head, gives the entire look a luxurious and dreamy feel. In my hands, I held a specially coordinated white-and-purple bouquet composed of white roses and light purple accent flowers, tied with long white ribbons at the bottom. To keep the bouquet from looking monotonous, green leaves were also added as accents.

The shooting location was chosen in a large convention and exhibition center. The venue interior is vast with high ceilings, featuring numerous grid structures and lighting fixtures. The advantage of such a venue is its spaciousness, allowing for great depth of field, but the difficulty lies in the complex overhead lighting. To prevent the face from looking dull or developing harsh shadows, the photographer tried various angles on site, utilizing external strobe lights and reflectors to deepen the background and make the subject pop. Under this lighting environment, the background bokeh produced by a wide aperture looked gorgeous, adding significant points to the overall atmosphere.

While shooting this set, I designed several poses. The inviting gesture of reaching out requires turning the body sideways while minding the lines of the shoulders and neck, which makes the arms appear more slender. The posture of holding the bouquet with both hands before the chest seems simple, but it demands slight muscle engagement in the arms rather than complete relaxation; otherwise, the dress would wrinkle and compromise the overall posture. In addition, for angles looking up slightly at the camera, the gaze needed to carry gentleness and a hint of playfulness to convey the character's personality properly.

Walking back and forth across the venue was actually quite exhausting; the skirt hem is very large, requiring me to hold up the edges at all times to prevent stepping on or soiling it. Furthermore, standing for a long time in high heels caused real pain in the soles of my feet, yet facing the camera required immediately getting back into top condition. Wearing Elf ears for hours slightly rubbed against the skin around the edges, but for the sake of the final visual effect, all of this was well worth overcoming.

Overall, the design of this 'To Love' Wedding dress cosplay is truly wonderful; the blend of pink, white, and purple remained exceptionally pure even under the intense venue lighting. The finished photos basically met my expectations, and both the costume texture and makeup details hold up even under close inspection. I hope everyone can feel this dreamy atmosphere.
