[Tachibana Nozomi cosplay] Summer beach resort style of the Hami melon twins

Today's photo shoot location was chosen in a resort area covered with white sand. The sand under direct sunlight was very high in temperature, and it felt a bit hot stepping on it barefoot, but I persisted for the sake of the picture effect. The character prepared this time is Tachibana Nozomi from the Hami melon twins. Although both names, Tachibana Nozomi and Hikari Tachibana, were mentioned in the description, the version I shot this time is a solo version.
A lot of thought went into the makeup and styling part. The bright green long twin-tail wig was very eye-catching under the sun, but high temperatures also easily made the wig look lacking in texture. Before going out, I specifically combed it with wig care solution, and during the shoot, I tried to avoid the most glaring midday overhead light. The green ring hair accessory on top of the head needed constant attention to secure, preventing it from falling off due to too much movement on the lounge chair. Wearing elf ears is a technical skill; it needs to fit the edge of the skin, using skin wax and foundation to cover the seams.
In terms of makeup, to match this summer beach resort atmosphere, the base makeup chose a light, sweat-proof texture, with eyeshadow and blush swept widely across the middle of the face to create a slightly sun-kissed blushing feeling. The contact lenses were chosen in a green shade to echo the wig. The lipstick uses a glossy water-shine texture, providing a natural lip gloss when smiling facing the lens.
The outfit is a white loose off-the-shoulder short top paired with light blue denim shorts. The neckline of the top is relatively wide, so attention needs to be paid to adjusting the shoulder line during shooting to avoid unnecessary wrinkles. When shooting the first picture, sitting on a brown woven lounge chair with legs crossed, this posture requires core tightening to keep the back straight. The crossed legs can visually lengthen the leg lines, and paired with the barefoot state, it gives a lazy feeling of relaxing on the beach after get off work. The dark toe nail polish was just applied before going out, standing out prominently against the white sand.
The second picture changed to a sitting posture, legs stretched forward, with a hand raised to the forehead to make a shading gesture. This action looks casual, but actually the bending angle of the wrist and the direction of the gaze need to be repeatedly communicated with the photographer. Because the sunlight was too strong, it was easy to squint, leading to failed expression management. During breaks in the shoot, we constantly checked the raw photos and adjusted the angle of the chin to ensure the facial light and shadow were three-dimensional. Wind is also a major challenge for shooting; occasionally a gust of wind blows, and the wig sticks to the face, requiring opportunistic snapshot captures.
Overall, the color tones of this set of photos are controlled between green, white, and blue, which fits very well with the refreshing summer theme of the Hami melon. Since only one person appeared in this shoot, I tried my best to present the lively and energetic side of the twins setting through body language and expressions. I hope there is a chance next time to gather two people and shoot a true twin co-framing effect. That's all to share for this beach photoshoot.
