[Aria cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero x KFC Pop-up! Adorable Daily Moments with Sunna and Nangong Yu

For this Zenless Zone Zero and KFC pop-up collaboration event, our trio finally assembled. I cosplayed Aria (Aria cosplay), Mingmingbukun brought Sunna (Sunna cosplay) to life, and Nangong Yu joined us as well. Preparing for this pop-up, we began finessing our wigs and costume details a full week in advance. Aria's mint-green curly hair needed styling for airy volume; paired with blunt bangs, white heart-rimmed sunglasses, and a mint-green star hair clip, the linework embellishments atop the crown were also carefully trimmed by hand piece by piece. The outfit featured a pink long-sleeved top layered under a white typography tube top, anchored visually by red-and-white striped suspenders across the chest and a matching striped choker. To recreate the iconic yellow bell accessory, I searched for ages to source one of just the right size. Although the white pleated skirt offered slightly constrained movement, its palette harmonized impeccably within the pop-up store's vibrant pink ambiance and yellow heart decorations.

Sunna's vibrant bubblegum-pink twin tails required generous hairspray to stay structured, while cyan star-halo headpieces and petite white wing accents along the ears infused her silhouette with boundless dynamic energy. Her pink camisole dress, anchored by an oversized red bow on the bust and crisscross waist ties, displayed beautiful dimensional layering whenever she moved. Nangong Yu wore raven hair accented with mint-green streaks, paired with crimson eye makeup and sheer black mesh sleeves, striking a look that was cool and edgy yet delightfully sweet. The pink studded belt circling her waist and black cat motif emblems served as wonderful finishing touches to her ensemble.

At the pop-up venue, we interacted with an assortment of fun props. My winged circular frame prop and plush star toy, Sunna's cartoon cat box, and the acrylic display case brought by Nangong Yu were all specifically curated for this shoot. With quite a crowd watching nearby, we snapped selfies while dynamically refining our poses, striving to project each character's unique personality before the camera. The ambient lighting on location proved challenging—a mix of saturated pink backdrops and warm overhead lights that tested our makeup longevity, prompting several touch-ups along the way. We constantly shifted our stances during takes to ensure everyone's props and wardrobe remained crisp in frame, especially since Aria's mint-green wig was prone to washing out under directional lights, requiring extra patience to lock in the cleanest angles.

Though demanding, the final results made every bit of effort deeply worthwhile. Immersed in such an ACG-rich atmosphere at the pop-up store, embodying our favorite characters together with great friends was an absolute joy in itself.
