Starting with the makeup base at 6:00 AM in the dressing room and ending with the last blue hour shutter click by the lake at 8:00 PM, this whole day of shooting on the Worldline timeline has finally come to an end, and I have finally organized these convention photos that have been delayed for a long time.

This time I cosplayed Phoebe. This main white dress has far more details than imagined. The black lace trim on the cuffs and collar looks incredibly delicate against the white base fabric. The blue and white tassels, combined with the small golden emblem and rope elements on the chest, create a perfectly balanced sense of layering, fully recreating that ethereal yet lively aura from the character design. Adding this huge, wide-brimmed white hat meant I had to be careful not to hit people around me every time I turned around. The blue hair clips on the bangs are also a highly recognizable feature. Paired with the light gold long curly wig and light blue colored contacts, the focus of the overall makeup was actually on the eyes, trying to make my gaze look gentle yet without losing that specific dreamlike emptiness. Wearing white boots with a white thigh-highs outfit, walking around on the outdoor grass always kept me on edge, terrified of stepping into mud and ruining it. However, for the sake of visual purity, keeping an eye on these details became a required course.

Speaking of props, this golden bird staff was truly the翿 biggest challenge today. I must admit, while the metallic bird design at the top highly restores the original, the overall center of gravity is way too high. Throughout the day, I accidentally dropped it four times. The first time was on a stone path when preparing for a standing shot; my hand slipped, and the shaft clattered sharply against the stone. My heart sank instantly. Luckily, the paint finish was durable enough that besides a few scuffs on the bottom anti-slip pad, there was no other damage. By the next three times, I had gotten used to it—by the fourth drop, I could pick it up expressionlessly and continue finding my angles. You could say my mental resilience received an immense workout. Moreover, this staff is extremely long, so moving around in the crowded venue was like hacking through thorns all the way.

The shooting location was chosen by the water, featuring grass and a waterfront platform paved with stone slabs. I felt this open, natural waterfront particularly matched the character's atmosphere. Photos 1 and 2 were taken in the morning, when the light was gentle and the lake was calm. The posture with hands clasped together really tested my eye contact; if not controlled well, it would look stiff. The action of holding the hat brim and lifting the skirt in Photo 3 was to better showcase the silhouette of the outfit, while also making the lower body lines appear sharper on camera. The kneeling posture in Photo 4 was captured during a break when I found the angle very comfortable; the stone ground was very hard, and maintaining a stable facial expression after kneeling down definitely required some core strength.

To capture the atmosphere of different times, we specifically waited until dusk arrived (Photos 5 and 6). In the evening, faint lights lit up on the water, and the wind swept across the lake. The large aperture lens formed blurry, circular bokeh spots in the background. The cool-toned blue light hit the white dress, making the texture look incredibly crisp and chilly. The last shot looking back over my shoulder is my favorite candid photo of the day. My hair and the hem of my dress gained a dynamic feel in the lake breeze, the staff tilted backward, and my overall mood relaxed. Actually, the wind by the water can get very strong in the evening; this big hat almost blew away several times, so I had to hold down the brim tightly to get the shot.

Although the process of organizing the album and editing photos could be described as torture, and I was indeed exhausted by the end of the day, it was completely worth it to recreate the character's vibe in a real setting and capture the details of the costume and the moments blown by the wind. As someone who struggles with delaying photo posts, I'm glad this set didn't keep everyone waiting too long.
