The core of this shoot was to capture that broken feeling of Theresa struggling in despair while being extremely gentle. As the 'Sarkaz King', her identity is heavy, but the love deep in her heart is the most real. On site, to restore that sacred yet oppressive atmosphere, I chose a highly contrasted black and white formal dress, paired with her iconic long pink hair, which has a very strong visual impact. In terms of makeup and styling, I specifically handled many details in the eyes, using deep eyeshadow to create a sense of weariness that has seen the vicissitudes of life, but the moment the lens is aimed, it must reveal that heartbreaking tenderness. The white flower in my hand was also carefully selected, symbolizing the last bit of warmth she guards in the ruins. During the creation process, I have been thinking about the unspeakable struggles in her heart. This immersive experience of empathizing with the character makes this work more textured. In the flow of light and shadow, that cursed love seems to have a concrete expression, and I also enjoy this process of dialogue with the character's soul. I hope to bring you different visual impact and emotional resonance through this set of photos. This shoot exemplifies Character accuracy and Aesthetic photography.
