The Amiya Sweet Memory Echo cosplay outfit for this shoot has high character fidelity overall. The main dress is made of blue-and-white checkered fabric, quite structured to hold the shape of the flared skirt nicely. The white shirt inside features red stitching and a bow at the neckline. The apron worn over it is white, trimmed with delicate lace around the edges, red stripes on the pockets, and a row of small blue bunny patterns along the hem. The bonnet is rabbit-ear shaped, and the wig was styled into high twin tails with pinkish-purple gradient tips and small blue bows on both sides.
For makeup, to complement the white rabbit theme of the Sweet Memory Echo skin, the base was kept light and translucent. The eye makeup used a soft peach-pink eyeshadow base paired with bright blue contacts to make the eyes pop. Eyebrows were kept flat and gentle. Eyeliner and lashes emphasized clearly defined individual false eyelashes so they'd show up distinct on camera. The contacts were put on right before shooting after brief acclimation. The lipstick shade was a pink-leaning watermelon red, adding a fresh glow without overwhelming the look.
The highlight of this shoot is the White Rabbit collaboration merchandise. We used several main props: one is a huge White Rabbit candy plush pillow, which was surprisingly heavy and tiring to hold in my arms during the shoot. Because of its weight, when taking front-facing standing shots, my arms easily grew tired, so I masked it with poses like leaning my face against it or resting it in front of my body as in the third photo. Another prop was pink faux flowers, mainly used as accents in front of the floral background.
The shoot was held outdoors featuring a vast lawn and adjacent flower beds. We shot in the afternoon when natural sunlight was abundant, especially during backlit shots where the edges of the plaid dress and wig were crowned with a gorgeous rim light. The third picture was shot on a picnic mat in a lying-down pose. Paired with white socks and White stockings styling, this pose gave the leg lines a natural elongation, while propping up my chin relaxed my facial expression. This kind of outfit blends seamlessly with natural outdoor settings like a grassy lawn.
The accessories on this costume have many details—such as lace on the cuffs, red cords at the neckline, and patches on the dress pockets—all worth highlighting. When doing squatting or sitting poses, you must carefully arrange the hem, otherwise the checkered pattern can easily look messy. Trimming the wig's bangs is also crucial for camera readiness: they need an airy texture without being too heavy to block the sparkle of the contacts.
Shooting outdoors in this kind of outfit usually involves meticulous logistics—keeping the hem smooth, avoiding wrinkles on the apron, and securing the hairpieces. Additionally, while the large White Rabbit candy pillow is bulky, it offers great compositional advantages by filling negative space cleanly. We also had to be mindful of the outdoor environment; since grassy areas have plenty of bugs, applying mosquito repellent in advance was essential to maintain a good shooting state. Cosplaying Amiya in this White Rabbit collaboration look was truly a special experience.
