Today I bring you the finalized cosplay photos of Kasumizawa Miyu from Blue Archive. Regarding the concept of this look, on the basis of the original character design, I focused on replicating her iconic light purple long straight hair and red eyes. The ends of the wig underwent multi-layered trimming, striving to restore that lightweight draping feel from the game. The eye makeup didn't adopt an overly intense pure red, but instead selected a brown-red gradient to give the gaze a more translucent and lively feel, rather than a rigid 2D filter look. The blue and white sailor uniform utilizes matte fabric, and the details of the green tie at the collar and the armband were also tailored after checking the original art, making the try-on effect highly compatible with the character's temperament.

Shooting on location at the anime convention this time, the biggest advantage was being able to use real scene props. Only by bringing her iconic firearm "Hikari" and a trash can do you get that authentic vibe of Kasumizawa Miyu. Everyone jokingly calls her the "Trash Rabbit" in Blue Archive because, in the game setting, she always likes to hide inside a trash can to patrol. While taking pictures, I intentionally tried out poses like sitting on the edge of the trash can, crossing my legs with bare feet in white socks, and flashing a victory sign, wishing to present her somewhat adorable yet gap-moe filled temperament, rather than a purely cold tactical girl image.

The whole shooting process was actually quite a physical chore. Because the lighting inside the exhibition hall was complex, it took a lot of time back and forth to fill in the light to make the skin and costume texture look pure and natural. Although the prop gun underwent lightweight treatment, holding it up to pose for a long time put considerable pressure on the shoulders and back. Fortunately, the knee pads and white tights selected this time didn't put much restriction on the flexibility of movements, leaving a high degree of freedom whether sitting on the ground or on the trash can lid. At the convention, other visitors frequently cast curious glances, and occasionally meeting people who recognized this character, we would greet each other. This is my first time doing Kasumizawa Miyu Cosplay. While trying my best to restore the setting, I also added a bit of my own understanding. Displaying this set of convention photos, I hope it can bring everyone a slightly different visual experience.
