[Blanc: White Rabbit cosplay] The Black-and-Gold Elegance in Goddess of Victory

This share features the look of Blanc: White Rabbit from Goddess of Victory. The photo was shot in a moody indoor Chinese-style scene, paired with a cool, deep blue ambient backdrop to highlight the rich texture of this black-and-gold outfit. In terms of makeup, to match the character's persona, I specially chose a silver-white wig styled with matching twin buns on both sides; paired with the black animal horn ornaments, the entire silhouette instantly became three-dimensional. For eye makeup, orange-gold eyeshadow was used with an elongated eyeliner to give the gaze a penetrating and mysterious feel.

The fidelity of the costume is mainly reflected in the execution of fine details. The top features a black stand-up collar spliced with white ruffles at the neckline to create a crisp color contrast. The expansive golden dragon embroidery across the chest is a standout feature; under the spotlights, the embroidery threads catch the light, clearly revealing scale textures and intricate line work. The black wide corset tightly embraces the curves of the body, adorned with a golden knot and tassels in the front, which, contoured by highlights in the dark setting, sharpens the waistline. The sleeves are designed as wide, draped hanging sleeves with a wonderful flow, extending the arm lines together with black half-finger gloves. The lower body is styled with black shorts and black stockings; this combination of length and material echoes the visual weight of the legs while maintaining the character's capable poise.

When shooting this photo, I adopted a half-kneeling pose with my arms raised and spread outward, using body language to complement the billowing wide sleeves and impart an expansive momentum to the composition. The photographer dedicated immense effort to the lighting setup: using key light to evenly illuminate my face and create beautiful rim lighting along the edges of the silver-white hair, while the blue fill light in the background suppressed visual clutter, establishing a stunning warm-and-cool contrast between the gold-embroidered garment and the dark environment.

Regarding props, securing the wig and horns required meticulous care to avoid tugging on hair strands while keeping the horns upright in their correct positions. The golden knot and tassels at the waist swayed with my movements, and the photo captured the exact instant they draped naturally, adding realism to the scene. The sheen of the black stockings also played a vital role during the shoot, working with the cool blue ambient light to render the leg lines beautifully proportioned under light and shadow.

For location scouting, we selected an indoor space furnished with classical Chinese furniture and floral botanical sets. The red-and-black floral arrangements and translucent screen elements in the background further accentuated the character's cool, stoic presence. Looking at the overall shoot, the dragon embroidery on this coat is genuinely heavy craftsmanship. Since black fabric absorbs light, post-processing required careful highlight control to prevent the embroidery reflection from becoming glaring. Hair and makeup styling took around two hours, mainly spent managing the wig and horns, as well as refining the white sideburns. Receiving the final photo, I felt that the cool, dignified yet empowered atmosphere was recreated quite nicely.
