This Anime convention was mainly aimed at capturing this Rikka Takarada cosplay styling. Because the character design is notably curvaceous, I intentionally chose a side-profile glance-back pose—just like the first picture—standing on tiptoe with one foot to elongate the leg lines. Combined with the subtle indentation created by the Red over-the-knee socks, it perfectly captured her casual everyday vibe. The middle shots utilized sitting poses, either hugging my knees or resting on the steps. This posing hid the cluttered floor while emphasizing the smooth, firm contours of the legs, making the upward frontal angle easy to manage.

The convention lighting was dominated by strong overhead ceiling lamps, and the background was extremely crowded. The shooting mainly revolved around highlighting Thick thighs. Because the character's design is relatively full-figured, I specifically chose a side-profile look-back angle, just like the pose in the first photo—standing on one toe to elongate the leg lines, which combined with the gentle tightness created by the red socks to perfectly recreate the everyday anime vibe. A few photos in the middle made use of sitting poses, hugging my knees or sitting on the steps. These poses not only concealed the messy floor background but also made the leg lines appear smooth and toned, making the upward front angle much easier to manage.

The lighting at the convention consisted of strong overhead ceiling lights, and the background was super crowded. I discussed with the photographer to use a wide-aperture prime lens to blur out the crowds behind, while finding spots where the ground had good light reflection to ensure no harsh shadows on my face. Since I was wearing a skirt and socks and the air conditioning in the hall was quite cold, my hands felt a bit chilly while waiting for spots. So I had the photographer snap some candid shots of me holding the earphone wire or adjusting my hair, which looked much more natural.

The hardest part of this outfit was maintaining the proper silhouette. The white vest is quite loose, and pairing it with a pleated skirt can obscure the waistline, so I shortened the backpack straps slightly. The pink flamingo phone wasn't heavy to hold, but I had to make sure it didn't block my face when posing. The picture of me holding a drink carton was casually snapped during a rest break, which surprisingly brought out a relaxed after-school daily feel.

Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the photos from this convention, especially the side-profile and sitting sets, which fully expressed the character's slightly curvy body and campus atmosphere. The shooting process went smoothly. Even though standing was a bit tiring and dodging the crowded background took effort, seeing the results made me really happy that I brought this outfit to the convention.
